To match the character's lively style, I wore it off-the-shoulder, paired with a high-saturation red pleated mini-skirt, creating strong visual contrast. The wig chosen was light pink with a subtle sheen, looking wonderfully translucent under bright outdoor sunlight. The halo overhead was custom-made from acrylic with a bracket at the base, requiring constant adjustment of the wearing center of gravity on-site to avoid shifting during walking or larger movements.

As for props, the long rifle served as the visual focal point of the entire ensemble. The rifle body underwent intricate color-separated painting to restore that heavy, realistic weight from the original work. To complement different scenes, the photographer and I coordinated various pose designs, including holding it vertically, placing it horizontally across my knees, and resting it over my shoulder. The weight distribution of the prop was handled well, making single-handed gripping effortless, which helped me maintain good posture throughout long Cosplay photography sessions without pose distortion caused by heavy gear.

The weather in Guangzhou was exceptionally cooperative with abundant sunlight, where backlighting produced soft lens flare and bokeh for a delicate halo effect. The photographer keenly seized the golden hour at dusk; that warm golden light filtering from diagonally behind not only softened edge contours but seamlessly blended the character into the overall picture atmosphere. We shot at an outdoor plaza, where off-white floor tiles reflected light beautifully, making transitions between highlights and shadows feel completely natural.

Regarding specific pose designs, I didn't deliberately pursue exaggerated movements this time, choosing instead relatively natural postures to convey the character's temperament. Sitting on the ground with legs naturally extended forward highlighted the detailed pairing of white loose stockings with black leather shoes, rendering ankle sock wrinkles vividly from this angle. With additional kneeling postures and half-body close-ups captured through multi-angle camera shifts, clothing layering and prop textures were fully presented. Before shooting, we established a quick shoot plan focusing on integrating with light and shadow rather than relying solely on forced poses.

During overall pre-planning, we aimed for a bright, translucent style as the main tonal direction for these Convention photos. Outdoor photography is easily affected by seasons and weather, and convention schedules are tight, but fortunately the photographer managed the pacing expertly to catch the optimal 30-minute lighting window. Between shots, I maintained my makeup status. The character Shimoe Koharu does not require overly heavy makeup, so I focused on a clear, translucent foundation while adhering to original character details for eye makeup, keeping everything clean and fresh.
