This shoot for Shirasu Azusa was located in a park corridor with green latticework. The sunlight was exceptionally bright that day, perfectly capturing the atmospheric interplay between ruins and light-shadow as reflected in the post's theme.

To restore Shirasu Azusa's classic black-and-white sailor suit styling, I spent a lot of time adjusting the costume details beforehand. The black vest portion of the top was fitted at the waist, while the white lace along the hem and the black puffy skirt were layered underneath to ensure better drape, volume, and depth when in motion. The wig was a cool-toned silver-white long straight hair, with the bangs trimmed and lightly styled to keep a neat drape even in outdoor windy conditions. The golden halo prop above the head was internally reinforced and secured among the hair strands using transparent fishing line, ensuring it wouldn't easily fall off during large movements like jumping or running.

Although the white feather wings prop on the back looked lightweight, wearing them strapped on for hours required careful attention to shoulder tension to avoid stiff posing. The white long rifle in hand, accented with orange stripes and Latin lettering, was not only massive in size but also carried significant weight. While posing, I applied force mainly through my wrists to stabilize the weapon, coordinating with body weight shifts to convey that unique blend of combat discipline and Upotte!! charm.

The final shots might look effortless, but the jumping pose in the corridor took multiple takes. Due to the wide hemline, jumping required core engagement to fan the skirt out like flower petals without making it look chaotic. Meanwhile, sunlight passing through the overhead slats cast large geometric shadows across the white steps and flagstone paths; we deliberately preserved these patterns during light metering, placing the figure in the illuminated zones to accentuate silhouette contours. The series blends quiet standing poses with dynamic running and jumping, aiming to present Shirasu Azusa's cool resilience in a ruined setting across varied perspectives.

The color grading leaned toward a bright Japanese aesthetic, lowering the saturation of background foliage so the visual focus remains squarely on the monochrome garments and silver-white hair. Given Shirasu Azusa's rather somber lore, my facial expressions mostly stayed calm and gaze locked forward into the lens, with only an occasional subtle smile. I hope everyone can feel the character's unique charm through these photos.
