[Blue Archive] Shimoe Koharu Fan-made design cosplay: Pink & White Maid Outfit Photoshoot Share

This time, I cosplayed Shimoe Koharu from Blue Archive. Based on personal preference, I made some adjustments to the outfit, so it does differ from the original design—apologies in advance for the Fan-made design cosplay. The wig is light pink with slightly curled ends. The black feather hair accessories on both sides are essential for anchoring the look and offer great recognition once worn. For makeup, I went with a matte base, focusing on the eyes with tonal pink eyeshadow transitions and light-colored contact lenses to soften my facial features.

For the outfit, I opted for a white base color-blocked with soft pink. The neckline is gathered with black lace and a slender ribbon bow, while the chest and waist are accented with pearls and ruffled pleats. The cuffs feature flared sleeves, which, paired with the White tights cosplay and over-the-knee detailing, give the entire ensemble a richer layered feel. The pink glowing halo atop my head was specially prepared; illuminated by the room's warm ambient light, it created a delicate soft-white glow that blended seamlessly with the color palette of the Anime girl's attire.

This set of photos was taken in a high-rise hotel room, and since it was mostly selfies, the setup was relatively simple. The first photo is a mirror selfie taken casually with a phone, with a small official character sticker added to the lower left corner as a side-by-side reference between the official design and this Fan-made design cosplay. The composition is casual, mainly meant to check how the complete outfit looks worn.

The second shot is a half-body close-up, mainly focusing on upper body details and facial expression. With my chin slightly tucked and a gentle, warm expression in my eyes, this shot highlights the 3D shape of the collar bow and the seamless transition between the black feather headpieces and the wig's edges. Under indoor lighting, the garment fabric displayed a subtle matte texture without harsh glare.

The third picture is my personal top pick for a cover: sitting on a white single-seater armchair, lightly touching the feather accessories on both sides with my hands, legs crossed, perfectly showcasing the White tights cosplay details and the layered skirt. The halo floats neatly above, with window blinds and the dark cityscape night view in the background. The sofa and floor tones create a cool-versus-warm contrast with the pink-and-white outfit, resulting in a balanced, centered, and full composition.

This Fan-made design cosplay attempt toned down some of the character's original sharpness, placing the focus on blending cute aesthetic charm with classic maid motifs for this Anime girl. During the shoot, we made the most of the modern hotel interior to keep the scene clean and uncluttered. Cosplaying fan-made designs often means diverging from canon details, but as long as the styling resonates with your own interpretation, it brings out a distinctive, charming appeal. While it couldn't fully replicate Shimoe Koharu's original design, the shoot was a wonderfully comfortable experience, and the final results matched my vision quite well.
