For this shoot, I chose Genshin Impact's Yae Miko outfit; the most cumbersome part was actually the long pink wig and the two massive fox-ear extensions, which felt genuinely heavy after wearing them for hours. Shooting outdoors during the day around cherry blossoms and torii gates meant overcoming the unpredictability of natural light. Because the kimono sleeves were so voluminous and the footwear was wooden geta, walking on the steps and through shrubbery required extra caution—yet this contrast fit the character's seemingly poised yet subtly whimsical personality quite well. The photographer generously used foreground blur in the composition, which, combined with traditional wooden houses and stone lanterns, yielded clear and luminous shots capturing the essence of an Anime girl.

By evening, we shifted indoors for a studio shoot, switching to a venue with a red-and-black ukiyo-e backdrop and casting crisp side-lighting, which instantly altered the low-key ambiance. To convey the Fox girl's alluring charm, I tried reclining on the tatami mats holding a sake flask and cup, deliberately relaxing my gaze to project a lazy, nonchalant attitude. Because the poses were expansive and required sustained expression control, cycling through the entire set was quite physically demanding. Throughout the session, I constantly adjusted the garment's placement to ensure the bust and leg lines aligned faithfully with the character design. The chemistry with the photographer was seamless; whether under outdoor sunlight or moody indoor lights, we recreated the authentic texture of that proud, haughty deity as faithfully as possible in this Japanese-style photoshoot.
