[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact: Dendro Archon's JK Uniform School Style

Completed a Nahida JK uniform photoshoot within the pure white space of Kasumi Studio. For this Casual cosplay, I chose a JK uniform interpretation for the Dendro Archon, incorporating her signature botanical green accents while blending in a relaxed campus aesthetic. The hair accessories recreated Sumeru's leaf motifs, and the silver-green gradient wavy wig took meticulous styling to give the bangs and side layers a natural, airy fluffiness. Semi-translucent elf ears added depth to my facial contours, aligning visually with 2D anime character designs. Makeup remained light and translucent: earth-toned eyeshadow subtly deepened the outer corners and aegyo sal, granting a bright, discerning gaze that reflects her wise and spirited lore. For attire, the oversized color-block jacket splayed cream-beige against leaf green, preserving her core color scheme while exuding a schoolgirl's cozy lounging vibe. A light green pleated plaid skirt echoed the top, paired with a vibrant green backpack for harmonious color cohesion. White over-the-knee socks and glossy black patent loafers anchored the essence of the JK uniform aesthetic, instantly exuding anime-inspired schoolyard energy.

Inside the studio, a white cylindrical platform served as the central visual focal point. In the first shot, sitting on the pedestal while adjusting my socks captured a candid, routine motion before stepping out. The second shot featured a single-leg standing pose with a slight glance back over the shoulder to project playful vitality. Shooting these contrasting demeanors aimed to express Nahida's dual nature of quiet contemplation and spirited alertness. White studio photography eliminates cluttering ambient light distractions; focusing lights strictly on the subject ensured maximum skin translucency and pure costume color saturation. The photographer, @九九九是月, guided me through various camera angles—from eye-level framing to subtle low-angle shots—fully utilizing the seamless white backdrop to highlight the subject while maintaining crisp focus and swift snapshots. I paid strict attention to socks and skirt folds during micro-adjustments to keep every detail immaculate. During shooting, I pondered blending the character with my own persona: though Nahida is Genshin Impact's Dendro Archon, portraying her in a JK uniform strips away divine detachment in favor of warm, everyday approachability. That's the charm of Casual cosplay—authentically recreating a character while infusing one's own interpretations. The final images look clean with soft, pleasing tones, perfectly complementing the refreshing baseline of this styling. Though micro-adjusting poses repeatedly took effort, seeing these final frames made it immensely rewarding.
