This Mengxiang Comic Convention was truly exhausting yet joyful, and the Convention photo post-processing for the composite effects on the six photos completely drained my battery. I did an Acheron Cosplay from Honkai: Star Rail, and after seeing the final edited Convention photos, my friends joked that I might not get any bookings for official full photoshoots anymore because these photos can basically be used as full photoshoots directly.

The first picture is the red umbrella in the rainy night ruins. The lighting is extremely atmospheric, and I put a lot of effort into the raindrops and spider lilies during the edit. The second one is the starry sky moon wheel. I really love the composition of this scene; the curves of the streamers and the crescent moon echo each other beautifully, and the post-processing color grading mainly focused on keeping the blue and purple tones from looking muddy. For the third one featuring The Shorekeeper, the water ripple special effects were handled quite restrictively to preserve the coser's inherent translucency. The fourth one is Rei Ayanami's wasteland style in a laboratory setting. The light effect of the red blade is the focus, and to avoid overshadowing the main subject, I tuned down the brightness through several revisions. The fifth one captures Feixue with great composition and a sense of movement, and the layering of the rain was superimposed quite delicately. The last one features A2's wasteland metallic texture, where a lot of thought went into creating the weathered, distressed look.

Shooting these six sets was indeed tiring, but seeing everyone's interpretation of their characters makes it worth it. There are still more photos left for me to slowly edit for this Cosplay photography collection, and I will definitely come to Mengxiang again next time.
