This completed photoshoot is finally retouched and ready to share! The core concept revolved around merging Halloween with the whimsical aesthetic of Azur Lane and Damselette cosplay nuances, creating a look that felt festive yet infused with supernatural fantasy.
Stepping away from conventional witches and vampires, we anchored the design around medical bandages. The entire outfit was constructed from wound white wraps. While seemingly simple white cloth, choosing the material took careful consideration—it required slight elasticity and clean edges that wouldn't fray easily. Wrapping tension had to be calibrated repeatedly: wrapping the arms and calves too tightly cut off circulation, while wrapping too loosely caused sagging and messy wrinkles during active posing. The bright yellow headpiece was the soul of the character design, resembling an antenna-tipped hovering halo that injected playful non-traditional angel vibes into the Mummy costume framework. Flowing platinum-blonde straight locks cascaded down past the shoulders, establishing an ethereal contrast against the white wraps.
For makeup, capturing an uncanny yet delicate anime look meant focusing heavily on the eyes. Generous washes of rose and crimson eyeshadow smudged along the lower lash line delivered a flushed, slightly unhinged yandere aesthetic, balanced by a translucent base and pale nude lips. Staged in a rustic wooden tavern, deep walnut grains contrasted sharply against the stark white wraps. Surrounded by carved jack-o'-lanterns and hanging pumpkin string lights, I perched on wooden barrels or leaned along the bar counter. Crossed-leg angles visually elongated body lines against the wraps, bringing this festive Bandage Angel to life.
