The photoshoot for Anchorage's styling from the Azur Lane Cool Festival was successfully completed.

The visual core of this look lies in the light blonde long twin-tail wig. This styling demanded high hair volume, and because the twin-tails extended past the waist, large movements during shooting could easily cause tangles, requiring thorough pre-shoot brushing and setting. It was paired with two white plush animal ear accessories on top, which not only captured the character's Kemonomimi cute style traits, but also resonated with the relaxed, cheerful tone of the Cool Festival.

For the outfit, we chose a white semi-sheer tulle nightdress with a sweet loungewear silhouette. The criss-cross delicate straps at the neckline and the royal blue bow on the chest created a striking focal point, allowing a natural transition between white and blue. The hem was entirely adorned with ruffles, adding layered texture and airy lightness. Due to the sheer fabric, studio lighting required meticulous control; the photographer Geji used diffused soft bounce lighting, preserving the translucent quality of the white tulle while preventing loss of detail from overexposure.

The accompanying accessories were also full of highlights. A pair of white ruffled wristbands adorned the wrists, and a white garter accented with a blue ribbon was worn on the right thigh, echoing the blue bow on the chest. To enhance the relaxed summer homeware feel, I wore a pair of fluffy animal slippers, which complemented the character's lazy, cute charm during playful poses.

The shooting location was a custom-built 2025 Port Midsummer Cool Festival-themed studio set. Light blue walls paired with white cloud-shaped lightboxes, 3D lettering, and a beige curved lounge sofa created an exceptionally refreshing palette. For poses, I explored various dynamics: sitting on the sofa edge reaching out toward the camera for interactive depth; raising both hands above my head while winking to emphasize sweet makeup and eye details; letting my hands drape naturally in front holding the twin-tail tips; and finally, lifting one leg playfully to show off the plush slippers.

Because the white semi-sheer material naturally produces a soft glow effect on camera, combined with the clear makeup, it flattered the character's youthful girlhood. Throughout the shoot, I focused on smooth body extensions and vivid expressions, harmonizing with the framing to imbue every shot with a summer feel. The long twin-tails added dynamic flow during turns and gentle hops. Huge thanks to the photographer for mastering the light and capture timing, and to the stylist for post-shoot support, bringing out the best in this Anime cosplay series. I hope these photos convey a refreshing 2D summer breeze.
