This studio shoot finally nailed Chien Wu's Crimson Banquet look. There are really so many details in this outfit; the red and black color blocking is classic, and the golden spiderweb texture on the skirt is the highlight of the entire piece. To match the overall gothic atmosphere, we specially built a huge red gear clock background in the studio, along with some withered branches and spiderweb props, which instantly maxed out that dark and mysterious vibe.

Let's talk about makeup and hair first. For the wig, I chose black short layered hair with a certain sense of layering, paired with a black feather hair ornament, which can modify the face shape very well. In terms of makeup, to highlight the cold and glamorous feel, the eye makeup purposely deepened the red smudging, and the lip color was also chosen as a dark retro red. Focus on the tailoring of this outfit: the black lace mesh splicing, cut-outs, and strap design on the chest are very sophisticated. When wearing it, you need to pay attention to adjusting the position to present the best visual effect. The shoulders and cuffs are decorated with a large amount of black feathers; when walking, the lightness of the feathers and the heaviness of the red dress form a great contrast.

The lower body design is also a major highlight. The high-slit skirt hem just reveals the inner black lace over-the-knee stockings and garter rings. The lace pattern of the stockings is very delicate, not that kind of tacky style. Paired with short black leather gloves, the overall look gains a bit more coolness and sharpness. To achieve that effect, I tried different lighting positions. The red light in the background served as the ambient base light, and the main light source was specially set as side-backlighting, which not only outlined the character's silhouette, but also made the texture on the red dress and the translucency of the skin more obvious. When sitting on that black European-style high-back chair, I deliberately crossed my legs, rested my arms naturally on the armrests, and leaned forward slightly, which can well showcase body curves while also carrying a kind of languid aggressiveness.

The standing posture part emphasizes the drape of the skirt hem. The high-slit design creates an extremely strong sense of extension for the leg lines when walking or striking specific poses. Holding a red rose as a prop in hand can do some blocking near the face, which not only increases the layering of the frame, but also enriches the overall visual sense. Although shooting this set took a long time tossing around in the studio while stepping on high heels, seeing the light, shadow, and texture in the photos, I truly feel it's super worth it. For this kind of look with a bit of dark gothic style, what do you guys think of this presentation effect?
