Finally finished the Reimu behind-the-scenes shoot designed by Raptor 7. As a Shrine maiden cosplay style very suitable for summer, I personally adore the visual effect of this red and white contrast; it retains the charm of traditional shrine culture while incorporating highly modern tailoring and design. This aesthetic balance between tradition and fashion is what makes this costume most appealing. To accurately restore the character's agile "Girlish vibe," I was very meticulous about the makeup and styling, collaborating specifically with Teacher Huantoumao, focusing on strengthening the clarity of the eyes and the layering of eye makeup, striving to present a sophisticated yet refreshing atmosphere in the lens.
Actually, during the shooting process, I had an obsession with pursuing a more impactful sexiness, but when I saw the final photos later, I couldn't help but complain about my slightly chubby legs not being perfect, always feeling I didn't fully achieve the stunning effect I expected. However, looking at the texture of the whole costume, the flow of light and shadow, and the drape of the fabric, the quality of this Reimu set is indeed excellent. This shaping of the atmosphere of a Touhou Project character in a 3D space is the core charm of cosplay. I hope this limited summer Shrine maiden cosplay style can bring you a bit of cool visual enjoyment in the sweltering summer.
