Lily White, the spring herald fairy who brings news of spring days in Touhou Project. Combining with the spring theme, this time I put together a red and white color-coded look, using a large area of pure white as the base, topped with reddish-brown zigzag wavy patterns to recreate the character's visual hallmarks.

This outfit has a very heavy sense of layering, especially the sleeve parts which feature multi-layered wide flared sleeves with transparent lace edges, giving it a strong overall silhouette. The inner wear requires a thick petticoat to support the intricate ruffles of the skirt hem, while the large area of red pleated lace at the bottom and the giant red bow at the side of the waist form a sharp visual contrast, carrying a full sense of substance when worn. The headpiece is a small top hat styled slightly like pointed cat ears, with red ribbon bows tied on the side and embellished with pink silk roses, maxing out the gorgeousness in details. It is paired with a long straight blonde wig to restore the character's iconic hair color, and finished off with opaque white tights and black patent leather Mary Janes as a classic Lolita outfit coordination.

During the indoor studio shoot, a pure white background was chosen, which maximizes the prominence of the entire red and white color-coded hair and makeup look. To showcase the dynamic charm of this garment in this Anime cosplay, besides the conventional front stance, I tried raising one arm high up to allow the multi-layered cuffs to spread out, as well as a lively pose of raising one leg and making a peace sign to present the lightness and fluffiness of the skirt hem. The fabric of this costume comes with its own jacquard patterns, so even large areas of white do not look monotonous. For this outfit, I specially adjusted the position of the large red bow on the chest and the neckline to ensure that the decorations would not shift when making these large movements, maintaining the symmetry of the silhouette. The photography also tried to retain the raw texture straight from the camera without too much post-processing, beautifully reflecting the refreshing and clean temperament of the character. Every outfit change brings a different experience. Although this Lily White look has many elements, the final photo results truly carry a sense of vitality like everything awakening in spring; just standing quietly, one can feel the liveliness and exquisiteness conveyed by the costume itself.
