[Black Swan cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail Dark Gothic style styling and lighting sharing

For this shoot of Honkai: Star Rail's Black Swan, just the makeup and styling preparation and venue coordination took nearly half a month. In terms of makeup, the depth of the eye makeup was intentionally intensified, paired with purple-blue contact lenses, striving to restore that mysterious yet dangerous temperament. The wig was trimmed for several rounds to achieve the desired layers, and the costume material chose a splicing of glossy leather and lightweight gauze. The white floral ornaments at the waist and the colorful geometric decorations on the neck were crafted bit by bit according to the setting's details.

In terms of props, although the deep purple transparent sphere and cards looked lightweight, to capture the glowing effect of the sphere, many attempts were made with lighting. It was finally decided to use cool blue ambient light combined with front warm fill light to highlight the character's three-dimensional feel. The scene was arranged with arched windows featuring black geometric lines, transparent crystal candle holders, and dark purple vine flowers, with an overall atmosphere leaning towards Dark Gothic style. The shooting postures tried standing, sitting upright, and lazy side-lying, especially the side-lying set, which well highlighted the leg lines and costume texture by dimming the background and blurring warm-colored light spots in the foreground. The matching of Stockings and high-heeled long boots was visually stunning, but during actual shooting, to strike good angles, the legs and waist were kept tense all the time, which truly tested physical strength. Although the whole process was tiring, seeing the finished photos made everything feel worth it, and I also hope this Qingkong photo album can bring everyone a different visual experience.
