This set of Dusk's Jasper Inkstone skin anime cosplay took about half a month from preparation to completion.

The layering of the clothing was the focus of this preparation. The outer layer is a translucent mint-green and white tulle fabric, creating a very transparent and ethereal feel in the lens when walking or moving. The inner skirt hem has a peacock blue base, printed with black bamboo leaf patterns. To restore the skin's color scheme, I deliberately added a striking red woven belt around the waist, paired it with red and blue flower accessories and a gold collar on the chest, and hung jade beads around the neck. The hands wore blue-based red-patterned gloves, and the blue beads on the wrists were also one of the details.

For the wig, it has a black base with cyan-green highlights, and fine braids on both sides. Red contact lenses matched with eye makeup featuring slightly reddish outer corners of the eyes, plus elf ears and cyan-blue dragon horns on top of the head, paired with a long white tail behind, with a large area of cyan-blue fluff at the end, bring out the non-human feel of the overall styling. To ensure the tail's agility during shooting, lightweight internal support was made, so sitting and squatting postures can be presented quite naturally.

The shooting scene was decorated with bamboo, pink lotus flowers, wide lotus leaves, green moss, and Taihu stones, with bamboo tubes paved on the ground, perfectly matching this atmosphere full of Eastern mythological colors. The props I used in my hand included a woven bamboo small lantern, a painting scroll, a round fan, and a bouquet of lotus flowers; these props not only enriched the frame, but also provided a lot of action support for the character. For example, when holding the painting scroll, special attention needs to be paid to the strength of the wrist and the posture of the fingers to avoid the gloves looking stiff.

The entire set of photos was completed under a pure white background and uniform lighting. The white background tests the material and color of the costume severely, but fortunately, the green, white, red, and blue of this outfit showed up very clearly in front of the lens. The biggest challenge during the shooting was actually the coordination between the tulle outer coat and the tail, which easily looks bulky, so I intentionally kept the figure slender through actions like raising hands and turning around. Personally, I am quite satisfied with the overall effect, which expressed Dusk's unique quietness and mystery.
