This time, I'm sharing the studio cosplay photoshoot of Faerie Knight Lancelot's outfit from Fate/Grand Order. Let's dive straight into the topic and talk about the preparation and feelings about the final photos.

In terms of costume design, the main color palette is white and lavender, with a lightweight texture. The most eye-catching part is definitely the wide, detached flowing sleeves. The cuffs have an excellent drape, which, combined with the off-the-shoulder design, makes it especially easy to create a great effect when posing. The interwoven golden argyle patterns at the waist and the deep blue hanging fabric form a striking color contrast ornament, which, along with the white fabric flower at the hip, pushes the overall layers apart. The black short gloves and high heels with purple details also echo each other in unison, giving the entire outfit a touch of clean exquisiteness under the pure white main keynote.

For the hairstyle, I styled the iconic white-haired twin tails, paired with pure white flower accessories and black bow headbands. This not only firmly secured the twin-tail style but also made the visual focal points on both sides of the head very clear. The wig has a massive hair volume, so even when making large movements during the shoot, it wouldn't look flat against the scalp. Although grooming it took quite some effort, I am highly satisfied with the final state it presented.

The studio scenery on the day of the shoot was relatively simple, selecting a pure gray-blue gradient background backdrop. This kind of clean environment severely tests the light and shadow layers. Fortunately, the photographer's lighting was very soft. The combination of front light and overhead light managed to illuminate the clothing folds and skin tone quite evenly and naturally, and the transition of shadows left on the ground and chair back was also very comfortable, without any harsh cutting feel. The pose in Image 1 sitting on the deep blue velvet chair is my personal favorite composition. The high-heel form with crossed legs in a sitting state, coupled with my index finger gently resting on my cheek, accurately captures that slightly cunning yet elegant playfulness of the character. Meanwhile, the deep blue of the chair back and the white of the costume formed an excellent contrast of warm and cool tones.

Image 2 is a snapshot of a standing pose. This action of raising both hands to the sides can beautifully showcase the dynamics of the sleeves and the hem. Because the flowing sleeves were quite long during the shoot, to prevent them from stacking on top of each other, I repeatedly adjusted the high and low positions of my hands and shoulders, allowing the lines of the cuffs to present a natural wavy shape. The translucent white ribbons beneath my feet also happened to extend within the movement, making the overall atmosphere quite agile.

When engaging in character portrayal for this anime cosplay, I didn't deliberately chase that extremely chilly aura, but instead retained that side of the character carrying a slight mystery and gap moe. This entire set of photos counts as a serious record of my look for this Faerie Knight. Being able to preserve the details in the clothes, the silkiness of the hair, and those little facial expressions cooperating with the camera is a highly meaningful thing for me.
