This courier episode before today's FGO Fes opening caught me completely off guard. I was brutally backsabbed by SF Express's delivery efficiency—originally scheduled to arrive at 10:30, the logistics tracking shows it's still in transit, forcing me to urgently change the address directly to the venue. If I can't get the package any later, the carefully prepared freebies for today really won't be handed out in person.

The reason I rushed to the venue today was for this Aozaki Aoko cosplay look. To replicate that pair of deep blue eyes from the Witch on the Holy Night setting as much as possible, I specifically changed my contact lens style to render that translucent quality under changing light. I also put extra thought into trimming the wig, adjusting the side layers and the front bangs' length multiple times so it wouldn't block my vision while preserving the original character's sharp temperament that subtly veils the brow and eyes.

In terms of the outfit, the wine-red velvet pinafore dress paired with a black high-collar inner layer is a classic choice, creating a strong visual contrast through this red-and-black color scheme. The native properties of velvet produce beautiful soft light reflections under warm indoor lighting, which is a point many cosplayers pay attention to when selecting materials. Since I'd be walking around inside and outside the venue the entire day during the event, this thick-fabric Anime-style fashion item could easily cause stuffiness, so I chose a slightly more breathable knit material for my upper inner layer.

Many people use my selfies and official comparison images as a meme, saying they look identical. In the actual execution of cosplay, transforming flat 2D facial features into a real person's three-dimensional structure poses a real challenge. In terms of my Cosplay makeup, I intentionally reduced the thickness of the eyeliner, substituting it with contour shades. This way, from afar, the facial features lean closer to the flat, minimalist feel of the original artwork, while looking like a natural human structure up close.

I specifically brought along that white ita-bag this time, packed with theme cards for several characters and beautifully designed merch. Considering the priority today was to share them with fellow enthusiasts and take Polaroids, I protected the merch carefully to avoid any damage. If I wander around the venue, my spot could easily be labeled as "the booth where it's easier to recognize the bag than the face."

Though I'm panicking about the logistics delay right before the opening, thinking about it, this is also part of the convention experience. Large-scale events like exhibitions always come with unexpected situations. Right now, I just hope the courier drops it off immediately, or someone at the booth can help me coordinate. I snuck a few extra photos while having lunch at the venue, and my state looks quite on point. This immersive sense of roleplaying relies heavily on the readiness of props and costumes—today, it's just missing that batch of freebies.
