This maid outfit for Kashino blends Japanese-style and western dress elements, and the red, black, and white color scheme complements the skin tone exceptionally well. The pair of black cow horns on top combined with the white maid headband captures the character's cute traits perfectly. The bell on the chest is the crowning touch, making a slight sound when moving around, which adds a bit of realism. The design of the collar and cuffs on the outfit is uniquely creative; the off-the-shoulder cut paired with detached Japanese-style wide sleeves preserves a sharp look while adding visual layers. For the shooting location, we specially chose a traditional Washitsu with wooden doors, tatami mats, and a nearby Go board as props, which exactly echoes her calm yet slightly adorable character personality. Holding a calligraphy brush and a drawing board, I tried several sets of movements in the flickering light and shadow of the room. The lying posture from a high-angle shot nicely focused the props and the gaze, while the posture standing against the door fully displayed the deep blue wave patterns on the bottom hem. Wearing geta sandals with black stockings definitely required some balancing skills, but this outfit left plenty of room for expression in terms of movement range. The yellow chick plush toy brought by the prop crew also made the frame feel more lifelike. The lighting for this shoot was very soft, and the post-processing focused heavily on retaining skin texture while trying to restore the weave of the clothing fabric as much as possible. Brave cow-cow fears no difficulties; this gear was indeed quite heavy, especially that large bell and the highly draped wide sleeves, but the final photo results are well worth the hard preparation. I hope to present Kashino's gentle, steady state, with her occasionally showing her clumsy side.
