[CCcos] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion: The Qipao Witch's Night Tour of the Ancient City

For this Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion C.C. Qipao shoot, we dedicated immense effort to scenic staging and lighting. For the wardrobe, I chose a crimson modified Qipao featuring black paneled accents across the shoulders and mandarin collar, secured with traditional gilded frog clasps. The white floral embroidery trailing down the dress carries a vintage oriental grace. Because the Qipao features high side slits, I layered black fitted safety shorts underneath for seamless mobility. To enhance an overall sense of weightless lightness, I decided to pose barefoot, which allowed the lines of my legs and the natural drape of the silk Qipao to shine when seated upon the bamboo armchair. The wig features long straight light-green locks detailed with braided accents at the crown, flanked on both sides by crimson bun covers and cascading red tassels that swayed gently with every stride. The makeup focused intently on the eyes, blending pink-toned eyeshadow with reddish-brown contact lenses to evoke the enigmatic, fathomless aura of an immortal witch. In hand, I held a red Chinese folding fan; the gilded butterflies and floral motifs across the fan leaf resonated harmoniously with the gown's embroidery. The shoot took place in the courtyard nook of an old town characterized by weathered brick walls and timber structures, encircled by clusters of pink blossoms and lush greenery, where warm amber night lamps lent an intimate glow. To isolate the subject, the photographer used a wide aperture to softly blur the foreground blossoms, creating cinematic depth of field. Whether resting on the bamboo chair or standing beside the flowering bushes, I strove to project a living portrait of a character immersed in this oriental nightscape. Setting aside the weight of endless millennia, this stylistic cross-over was an absolute joy to explore, and I hope this series delivers a distinct, memorable visual experience to everyone.
