To capture the character's essence, I opted for a black strapless tube dress accented with asymmetric black roses along the waist, paired with over-the-elbow gloves, thigh straps, a metal O-ring choker, and glossy black stiletto heels. A black rose was also fixed onto the prop gun to unify the dark aesthetic.
The shooting process was physically demanding. The metal mesh steps were unforgiving, and holding various poses in high heels on the stairs required core engagement to maintain balance. The high-angle overhead shot especially placed high demands on leg lines, tailored specifically to highlight that Onee-san / Mature woman vibe and the allure of long legs.
Night lighting is notoriously tricky. The photographer used a cool-toned flash on the subject against warm streetlights creating a background halo; this cool-and-warm contrast pushed the mood to the max. Expressions needed constant fine-tuning to balance a playful wickedness with a hunter's icy sharpness. When aiming the gun toward the lens, channeling the oppressive intensity of a bullet piercing through a target was key.
The blend of the black dress, roses, and prop gun brought raw visual tension while challenging the photographer's camera positioning. Finding angles through the stair gaps and utilizing railing lines enhanced perspective.
