This time I tried a Chinese qipao look to interpret C.C. The red base with gold thread embroidery and side-slit design, paired with the iconic long straight green wig, visually preserves the original character's cool detachment while blending in a festive, cheerful atmosphere. The tanghulu prop in my hand was specially prepared to add a touch of daily life playfulness, which unexpectedly matches her originally lazy and casual temperament beautifully. During the shoot, the focus was placed on the coordination of sitting postures and hand gestures; a wooden armchair was selected to echo the Chinese theme, and the eye makeup incorporated red eyeshadow to make the gaze more focused. This semi-formal styling is actually harder to carry off than imagined, as one needs to maintain a straight back while acting out that nonchalant demeanor. The long bangs and twin-tail placement of the wig were repeatedly adjusted several times to make the flowing curvature of the hair strands conform to the character setting. The waist-cinching silhouette of the qipao places high demands on posture, but the final photo results are highly satisfying. Thanks to the photographer's lighting and composition, which handled the red and green color contrast very cleanly without overshadowing the main subject. Every time I challenge a different style of character outfit, it brings a new experience; everything from prop selection to makeup details needs to fit the character's core, and this time can be counted as turning in a qualifying report card.
