[C.C. cosplay] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Dreamy Garden in Lost Stories

Cutting straight to the point, this C.C. cosplay outfit from Lost Stories is finally completely sorted out after a long period of costume, makeup, and prop preparation followed by a studio shoot. Among the numerous spin-off outfits for characters in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, this pink dress with a strong fantasy flair features a highly unique design. It preserves C.C.'s signature languid temperament but is exceptionally gorgeous in its tailoring and details. The cut of the dress adopts a waist-revealing criss-cross lace-up design, with a large amount of exquisite gold thread embroidery from the chest to the waist, paired with pink-and-white color-blocked ruffles and lace, as well as semi-translucent white long sleeve covers, making the overall visual layering very rich. The material choice for the skirt hem is even more meticulous, with the outer layer covered in a layer of pink-blue mesh yarn with a glitter effect, which refracts a dreamlike halo under the lights.

As for the wig, I continued C.C.'s highly recognizable mint green long hair. However, to fit the theme of "Lost Stories," I specially adjusted the flow of the bangs and hair ends to make it look more fluffy and natural. Detailing adjustments were also made to the eye makeup, strengthening the direction of the eyeliner. Combined with warm-toned pink-brown eyeshadow and matching colored contact lenses, I attempted to recreate that unique expression of the character—both proud and aloof, yet seeing through the ways of the world.

The scene layout for this shoot was done with great care; the photographer @尸王 prepared a large amount of blooming flowers and white yarn. The iron birdcage on the left of the frame, the hanging lace drapes, and the staggered purple-pink flower clusters all perfectly fit the quiet and slightly melancholic atmosphere surrounding the character. Controlling light and shadow during the shooting process was a key focus; the team tried using side-backlighting to outline the edges of the wig and gold threads, letting the character stand out naturally from the cluttered floral background. Although setting up the entire scene and debugging the lighting took quite a lot of time, being able to accurately express the fabric material of this costume and the character's charm in these behind-the-scenes clips and final photos, with every detail properly handled, is the most solid and fulfilling part of this Anime cosplay showcase for my Roleplay passion.
