【Ye Shunguang Cosplay】The Instant Flash of Sword Light from the Qingming Sword Master of Mount Yunkui - Image 1

This time, I bring you the Cosplay photography recreation of the character "Ye Shunguang" from Zenless Zone Zero. Her identity as the Qingming Sword Master of Mount Yunkui endows the character with styling characteristics that possess both classical charm and a sense of sci-fi. Therefore, during preparation, I focused heavily on controlling the tailoring and material selection of the costume.

The overall white-and-red color scheme has a very strong recognizability. The pure white base color pieced together with bright red textures, combined with the high-slit shorts and asymmetrical red-and-white tight socks, visually elongates the lines and proportions of the body beautifully. The pair of black-and-red thick-soled chunky high-heeled boots on my feet not only enhanced the character's sense of power but also truly tested my balance during the shoot. A lot of thought went into securing the white wig strands, the animal ears on the head, and the thick fox tail behind me, ensuring both the flowing elegance of the styling and that no shifting occurred during intense action poses.

During the shooting process, the hairpin-shaped prop in my hand and that long red ribbon were the finishing touches of the entire look. To express the natural tension of the red ribbon in the air, we repeatedly adjusted the wind speed and the swinging angle of the ribbon during the shoot. In terms of movement, the pose of supporting myself on a single leg on a blue geometrically textured stone pillar was quite challenging. Coupled with the thick-soled boots underfoot and the swirling white smoke in the environment, it heavily tested the photographer's ability to capture instant dynamics.

The withered branches paired with red flower elements in the scene formed a beautiful visual echo with the red parts on my clothes. The entire cool-toned indoor environment, along with the fine white snow particles scattered in the air, created a cool and somber fantasy atmosphere. This Chinese-style action cosplay experience also made me feel that to truly recreate a character, one not only needs physical resemblance in outward attire but must also align with the character's calm and resolute inner temperament through body language. I really love the sleek and powerful feel presented in the final images.
