This studio session for Cyrene was centered around a fresh palette of pink, blue, and white. The wig featured a soft gradient shifting from pastel pink to icy blue, topped with a light blue beret tilted to the side, delicate micro-braids framing both cheeks, and a pair of elf ears that instantly brought out her playful charm. For wardrobe, I wore a cropped white camisole detailed with hot-pink trim, layered under a translucent sun-protection jacket with a holographic sheen. The lower half paired a dark mini skirt tied with a blue-and-white patterned bandana and silver chain accents at the waist, finished with white platform sneakers and slouch socks to pull together a harmonious color story.
The studio staging on the day was wonderfully thoughtful: an oversized baby-blue star pillow rested on the floor, surrounded by metallic silver heart balloons, pink-and-white round balloons, and a plush doll with large pink ears serving as the centerpiece prop. The backdrop was draped with hanging holographic star and circle banners, scattering delicate glimmers under the studio strobes. Holding a pink lollipop as an interactive prop, I explored various poses—crouching low, sitting cross-legged, or hugging the plushie against my chest.
To accentuate the crisp, airy vibe of this styling, we used high-key lighting to keep the frame bright, clear, and translucent. The photographer framed each shot expertly, capturing garment textures alongside the vibrant color palette. The most memorable sequence was the crouching series: balancing the airy drape of the sheer jacket with the clean lines of the mini skirt took several angle adjustments to strike an effortless, natural posture. For floor-seated shots, placing balloons and the plushie in the foreground created rich visual layers. The shooting rhythm was easy and fluid, with the raw frames already capturing the exact dreamy aesthetic we envisioned for this Game character photography set.
