This derivative styling of Cheshire was finally successfully completed for D3 of CICF. To present a perfect state at the convention, I practiced walking in high heels and lifting the skirt hem in front of the mirror many times before setting off. This costume has many details; the circle of hand-stitched blue flowers along the edge of the skirt hem is the biggest highlight. To ensure it has enough agility when walking, two layers of lightweight petticoats were layered underneath. The headwear part was also fixed bit by bit by myself; the blue ribbon and golden spherical decorations on the edge of the lace wide-brimmed hat have particularly good reflective effects under the night lighting.

This time, the eye makeup purposely changed the usual application method. To match Cheshire's iconic ice-blue contact lenses, the blending at the outer corners of the eyes was deepened, using an eyeshadow base with fine glitter, making the gaze look clear and bright even under complex convention lighting. During the shoot, to match the night scene, a little highlight was deliberately added to the makeup, and fine glitter was brushed on the collarbone, creating a great three-dimensional feel when the flash hit. The wig bangs were also trimmed strand by strand so that the bangs wouldn't block the brilliance of the contact lenses. Shooting night scenes relies heavily on fill-light equipment; I must praise the photographer's light-control ability here. On a street dominated by yellow markings, the light on the character's face was still preserved very naturally, without that stiff flash feeling.

The off-shoulder mesh and puff sleeve design actually have quite high demands on posture. To perfectly showcase the shoulder and neck lines, the back buttons were pulled very tight that day. White chunky-heeled Mary Jane shoes paired with white stockings visually extended the leg lines nicely. Although my feet were very sore after walking around the convention all day, seeing the elongated proportions in the finished photos made it all worth it. The bouquet was specially chosen in a blue-and-white color scheme, tied with ribbons possessing a laser-reflective texture. When the night breeze blew, the ribbons fluttered up, and the visual tension of the frame came out instantly. The blue-and-black split-dyed highlights of the wig also took a lot of time to groom, with trimmed layers making the overall hair volume look fuller while retaining a sense of lightness.

At the convention site, I met many kindred spirits who recognized Cheshire, and everyone enthusiastically exchanged photography tips. Many friends asked if this outfit was hot to wear; actually, the material of the dress was chosen to be relatively breathable, and coupled with the off-shoulder design, it actually felt a bit cool outdoors at night. When posing, I tried not to make overly exaggerated expressions, but instead showcased the character's elegance through eye contact and a slight tilt of the body. The looking-back pose is an angle I really like myself, capable of simultaneously showcasing the back lines and the layering of the skirt. The shooting location this time was chosen on a street sheltered by trees, where the dark green background and warm yellow streetlamp light spots happened to set off the white-and-blue main subject, resulting in a very rich sense of layering in image colors. Post-processing didn't use excessive filters, preserving the true texture of the skin and highlighting the embroidery and pearlescent materials on the clothes, striving to restore the most authentic convention photo report state.
