[Evertsen cosplay] Azur Lane Summer Swimsuit, Refreshing Waterside Photos Released Online

Summer is here, so I took advantage of the fine weather to complete this shoot at the water park. This styling restores Evertsen from Azur Lane, characterized mainly by silver-white hair and elf ears, paired with a white swimsuit with blue lace trim and long white gloves, presenting a highly translucent style for an ideal Anime summer look.

Let's talk about the makeup and styling details first. This silver-white wig features twin-tail braids, and I added blue bow hair accessories to both the ends and the top of the head to echo the collar on the neck and the blue trim on the outfit. The elf ears are handmade adjusted props, adding a touch of 2D fantasy to my silhouette once worn. The base makeup is quite clear, focusing on a flushed eye look and a slightly red lip color, which, combined with the light blue contact lenses, naturally brings out the character's playful gaze in front of the lens. The outfit is a white-and-blue color-blocked ruffled swimsuit with a lace-up design on the back; upper-body comfort is also highly important. Beyond being a character accessory, the long white gloves add excellent layering by the poolside. This creates a stunning Swimsuit cosplay presentation.

The shooting location was an outdoor water park. We first shot for a while in the blue deep water zone; the blue pool water was highly translucent, with the light reflecting a very clear glow on the water surface. Once the white clothes were soaked, the fabric clung slightly to the body, revealing the combination of clothing texture and water sheen. Later, we shifted to a shallow water zone with a yellow base, where direct sunlight formed a highly bright, golden reflection on the water surface. Image 3 was shot in that exact area; the splashes kicked up on my legs and the ripples on the water surface were snapshot perfectly, adding a touch of dynamic vitality to the frame. The temperature on the day of the shoot was quite high, but soaking in the water was actually very comfortable, making it a highly interesting experience to complete the shoot while playing in the water.

For composition selection, it leaned toward centering the subject and local close-ups. Because water as a medium has a strong sense of fluidity, the camera position was mostly low-angled and close to the water surface. Sometimes featuring mid-body shots, like the looking back in Image 4, where the damp white clothes and the lines of the neck and shoulders can be clearly seen, bringing a sense of waterside freshness and pure desire. The white over-the-knee socks worn on the lower body also presented a semi-transparent water-stained feel in the water, forming a color uniformity with the white gloves.

The design of this outfit actually has many clever touches, such as the shoulder straps, the ruffles on the chest, and the fluffy skirt hem; these details give one feeling when shot on land, and another texture entirely after being soaked in water. Because the clothes have a certain transparency after soaking, it heavily tests the photographer's handle on light and angles. Fortunately, the photographer knew exactly how to snapshot the exact moments of splashing water and the instant of looking back, and the final photos beautifully show that my state back then was very natural and relaxed.

As an Azur Lane player, I have always loved the personality of Evertsen. Being able to shoot such a summer-vibe Swimsuit cosplay by the water this time beautifully presents my love for the character through photos. I hope these refreshing close-ups against different water color backdrops can make everyone feel the atmosphere of a summer water park, while showcasing the care put into the texture details of my outfit and wig for this Anime summer memory.
