[Nagasaki Soyo cosplay] MyGO girl's Haruhikage sailor suit daily life

This Nagasaki Soyo cosplay styling took a long time to prepare from test makeup to the actual shoot, and I'm very satisfied with the texture of the final photos. The outfit is a classic dark cyan sailor suit set, featuring a white sailor collar paired with a matching bow tie, embellished with a golden badge on the chest. To faithfully restore the character's temperament, it was specially paired with black knee-high socks and brown vintage uniform shoes. The hairstyle chosen was light orange large-wave long curly hair, paired with blue colored contacts and pink blush. The overall makeup leans toward the delicate feel of Japanese anime, hoping to convey that slightly melancholic yet very elegant atmosphere.

A lot of thought went into choosing the shooting location. We found a park with large patches of pink flowering trees and lush greenery. The first set was shot by a low stone wall; the pink flowers in the background and the dark cyan uniform formed a great color contrast. I tried posing with my arms crossed sideways and both hands raised behind my head, which, combined with the short top design, made the overall posture more vivid. The second set features me squatting on the ground covered with fallen leaves, against a backdrop of purple and white bushes. This pose heavily tests body control, so I tried my best to keep my body straight, gently supporting my chin with one hand. With the shallow depth of field effect, the image looks very quiet.

The most photogenic set is the one sitting on the black wooden bench. The background features traditional Japanese wooden structures and white paper sliding doors, accented with bamboo plants nearby, creating a strong Japanese style (Wafuu) atmosphere. A brown leather bag was placed beside me, and sitting on the bench, I naturally stretched my legs, where the pairing of black knee-high socks and brown loafers was showcased exceptionally well. When adjusting my sitting posture in front of the lens, I paid special attention to the extension of the leg lines, maintaining both the reserved and modest feel of a 2D character while displaying the layering of the outfit. The two outdoor sets under the wisteria trellis are also full of ambiance; the wooden frame covered in pink roses combined with mottled natural light, where I stood naturally holding the straps of my school bag, utilizing the environmental light and shadow to maximize the texture.

The entire shoot basically utilized natural light throughout, and the photographer specially chose a large aperture to blur the background, highlighting the primary status of the character. The tailoring of this outfit fits closely, especially the drape of the pleated skirt, which performs wonderfully both while walking and sitting. During the process of portraying Nagasaki Soyo, I repeatedly recalled in my mind her state of appearing gentle on the surface while hiding complex emotions inside, trying my best to ensure that my gaze and body language wouldn't look thin or one-dimensional. Sunlight filtered through the leaves onto my body, mixed with the fresh fragrance of the surrounding plants, making the entire shooting process feel more like temporarily becoming her in this scene. This combination of a sailor suit and natural scenery is not only great for photography, but also allows people to immersively experience the character's daily atmosphere in spring. In the future, I will also try the performance of this outfit under other lighting and shadow conditions, hoping to bring everyone more different works.
