This photoshoot for Roxy's little devil styling can be said to be a challenge to both material and light-and-shadow. This black glossy bodysuit features a material with extremely strong reflective effects. In a dark-toned environment like a vintage bar, in order to capture the garment's texture and body curves, the lighting angles and softbox placements were adjusted numerous times. Just a bit of harsh light would cause rigid highlight spots to appear on the clothing, destroying the harmonious feel of the overall frame. To match this costume and the setting's atmosphere, I deliberately intensified the reddish gradient blending at the outer corners of my eyes in the makeup, paired with blue circle lenses, hoping to present a unique temperament hovering between a young girl and a demon monster.

The wig part was the most time-consuming, featuring Roxy's iconic twin braids and that specific ahoge. To make the braids look full without appearing stiff, some support structures were added inside, and the hair flow was meticulously groomed with hairspray. The two small black horns on top of the head were actually fixed using bobby pins and invisible steel wire, and during the shoot, care had to be taken not to mess up the wig. Although the bat wings on the back were flat props, the fixing straps at the shoulders and waist needed to be concealed exceptionally well so they could look as if they grew out from the back. Paired with black semi-translucent long gloves, I also applied some special painting treatment to the hand joints to enhance the doll-like feel.

The location was chosen at a vintage wooden bar counter, where the dark wood grain and the wine cabinet behind it formed a strong visual impact with the shiny black leather costume. This time I tried different postures, especially the one sitting on the bar counter: crossing the legs not only showcased the over-the-knee Black stockings and the absolute territory of the thighs, but also, the posture of resting the chin on a hand while leaning slightly forward, brought a closer sense of distance to the lens. Sitting cross-legged holding a wine bottle was actually a small interaction during a break in the shoot, and holding the AULD JOC wine bottle as a prop turned out to be unexpectedly fitting. When standing in front of the bar, I tried my best to make my body present natural curves, and the spread angle of the wings was also adjusted so that it looked commanding without blocking the main body's display. The design of the high-cut bodysuit itself tests one's figure greatly; combined with the ultra-short shorts, it visually elongates the leg proportions to the maximum extent. Coupled with this pair of over-the-knee Black stockings, it pinches out a slight fleshy texture at the thigh, maximizing realism. The small red little devil tail accessory on the thigh is also a highlight, serving as a pop of vibrant color amidst the pitch-black pairing. During the shoot, the camera aperture was set relatively wide, turning the wine bottles and models in the background into beautiful out-of-focus blurs, concentrating the visual center of gravity entirely on the subject herself. Although the entire process was tedious—especially tossing around indoors wearing a costume with poor breathability—seeing that mysterious yet somewhat cute Roxy in the finished photos made everything feel completely worth it.
