I snapped a casual set of everyday-style photos at home, inspired by the line 'Let's hide so fate can't find us.' I felt it fits the character's slightly evasive yet pure temperament wonderfully. This shoot focuses on a relaxed, homey, and subtly melancholy atmosphere.

Let's talk about the basic coordinates of this styling first. Blonde twintails with straight bangs are a highly recognizable signature. To keep it looking naturally fluffy in front of the lens, I spent quite some time combing the wig before applying makeup. Especially regarding how the twintails were secured, I used black ribbon bows; making them slightly symmetrical looks sweet, but letting them hang with a relaxed drop like this actually fits the lazy at-home state much better.

For the outfit, I selected a white thin-strapped dress made of lightweight material, adorned with black bows at the neckline and straps that create a lovely harmony with the hair color and hair accessories. The highlight lies in the white thigh-high stockings, which not only visually elongate body proportions, but the texture of the stockings paired with the skirt length and a black plush bunny doll prop provides a visual experience that feels both soft and slightly distant. This minimalist black-white-grey color coordination was essential during the shoot; though simple, the resulting effect leaves plenty of breathing room.

The shooting locations were also centered around being 'at home.' The first setup was on a grey fabric sofa with a large grey shark plush beside me, creating a comfortable, unguarded, and intimate sense of personal space. The second set was in front of my own computer desk, where background elements like a black mesh office chair, laptop, game controller, and monitors created a delightful contrast, blending anime culture concentration with real-life daily authenticity seamlessly.

Regarding makeup, I didn't apply heavy eye makeup, but rather deepened the pink smudge around the eye sockets slightly to create a faintly 'sleepy' or 'ethereal' feel. Light-colored contacts paired with this reddish eyeshadow give the eyes an expressive, delicate, and pitiable look, which is a major bonus. I also kept my nails clean and natural in shape without applying bright polish to avoid disrupting the understated aesthetic.

The shooting process was a real test of emotional delivery. Since it was shot indoors with natural light plus a little fill light, we couldn't rely on massive outdoor light sources. Thus, I intentionally adjusted my body's center of gravity—curling up in the corner of the sofa clutching the black bunny, or leaning my head sideways while sitting in the computer chair. This body language carries far more storytelling than forced poses, better conveying that secluded, quiet feeling of 'hiding away.'

After shooting these indoor sets, I plan to pick a sunny day to find a grassy field for an outdoor shoot. The logic between outdoor and indoor shooting is vastly different; indoors allows precise control over light and shadow, but on outdoor lawns, one must consider natural lighting angles, wind blowing through long hair and camisole dresses, and whether green grass might make skin look too dark. These are all essential homework before shooting. I really want to see the golden shine of long blonde hair under sunlight and how fresh the white dress will look against green grass.

In truth, recreating a character every time is not just about putting on clothes and taking pictures; it requires resonating with the character's mindset at that moment through makeup, expression, props, and scene coordination.
