This time for Yukina Minato cosplay, I put a lot of thought into everything from the wig to the costume details. The combination of the purple-pink feather headpiece on top of the head and the black rose references the classic elements of Roselia's stage looks. The wig utilized light purplish-blue gradient hair strands, and the curvature of the bangs and sideburns took a long time to adjust before finding that sense of lines that is both crisp yet gentle. As for eye makeup, to match the character's slightly detached temperament, I used an earthy base layer topped with fine shimmer. Paired with golden colored contacts, it makes the gaze look more focused and piercing. The most time-consuming part of the costume was the massive bow on the chest, which features silver glitter and purple pearlescent decorations. Combined with golden chains and black lace edges, it has a strong sense of layering. The arm sleeves feature a hollow lace-up design with pink sequined ribbons cross-wrapped, which not only highlights the slenderness of the arms but also adds the magnificent feel exclusive to a Stage Idol. During the shoot, the blue ambient light on the left was intentionally adjusted to form a warm-cold contrast with the natural light on the right, making the skin tone look more translucent while emphasizing the metallic luster on the costume. The completion rate of the entire look is very high; from makeup to accessories, it tries its best to restore Roselia's cold, elegant, and slightly mysterious style. Actually, during the shooting process, I also pondered the character's demeanor. Yukina Minato is a girl with an extremely high pursuit of music, and her slightly arrogant yet incredibly serious gaze needs to be conveyed through minute eyelid angles and lip lines. In this set of photos, I chose that gesture of lightly touching the jaw with fingers, which, combined with a slightly downward gaze, perfectly echoes the dream imagery of being "strangled" mentioned in the post's descriptionānot fear, but a sense of immersion where one is tightly bound by music or a certain obsession yet enjoys it thoroughly. Doing Anime cosplay is just like this: you not only have to replicate the external appearance but also try to understand and express the character's internal emotional tension. Every time I do a Roselia look, it makes me admire a Stage Idol's focus even more. I hope this set of photos can let everyone feel Yukina Minato's unique stage charm.
