This time, I am portraying Remielle from Zenless Zone Zero. The shooting location was chosen in front of a street graffiti wall at night, and the purple neon lights and graffiti elements in the background fit the character's urban fantasy setting very well. It was a bit windy that day, but fortunately, the light and shadow effects of the final photos met expectations.

Let's talk about the core of this styling first. The wig chose layered pink short hair, paired with small black little devil wings and silver star-shaped hair accessories on top of the head. The makeup focused on reddish-brown eyeshadow and dark red lip makeup. To highlight the character's coldness, red contact lenses were deliberately worn. The costume has many layers; the innermost layer is a black mesh see-through long sleeve, covered outside by a black leather corset with a white stand-up collar, decorated with metal zippers and silver pendants at the waist. The lower body is an irregularly cut black short skirt, paired with black stockings featuring lace trims and black pointed-toe high heels. That pair of huge black feather wings on the back is the soul of the entire outfit, but because of its relatively large size, movement range is very limited after wearing it. Turning around and raising hands require special care, otherwise it's easy to hit nearby props.

The prop team put a lot of thought into the scene layout. Park benches, vintage old-fashioned televisions, plus traffic cones and fire hydrants in the distance, create a street feel of a wasteland city. To enhance visual tension, purple and pink neon tubes were also strung up in the background on site, cooperating with a blower blowing white and black feathers on the ground, plus post-processed synthesized bat silhouettes, bringing out the overall atmosphere very quickly.

The shooting process was divided into several different action stages. The group of photos standing up mainly wanted to express the character's sense of control reaching forward, but due to the obvious weight of the wings, the center of gravity needed to lean forward slightly to maintain balance. The one sitting on the bench looking back focused on displaying leg lines and stockings details, and the red ribbon at the waist and metal decorations on the costume happened to reflect under the side light, with very clear layering. The composition lying half-flat on the bench is my favorite set of photos; after stretching the body, the skirt hem wrinkles and leg lines of the costume naturally unfolded, matching a slightly dazed gaze, expressing the character's lazy yet dangerous traits.

Night photography has relatively high requirements for lighting. The main light source needs to accurately hit the face to make the facial features look three-dimensional, while the purple ambient light in the background should not be too bright to avoid stealing the focus of the subject. Shooting continuously for several hours, the wig hair strands needed frequent adjustment due to the wind, and wearing high heels was also very tiring, but seeing frame after frame in the camera, I truly felt that the hard work of the entire team did not go to waste.

As someone who has been doing anime cosplay for a long time, every time I encounter composite material clothing like leather, mesh, and metal accessories, a lot of preparatory work needs to be done in advance. For example, to prevent excessive reflection of leather under lights, shooting angles need to be controlled; to prevent mesh from snagging, extreme care must be taken when putting it on and taking it off. This time with this Zenless Zone Zero styling, the material collision feeling is very strong, paired with the mottled light and shadow of the street, the visual impact is quite sufficient.

The cold wind of the night scene and the heavy wings were both resistance to the shoot, but the moment I saw the final photos, most of this fatigue dissipated. I hope that through this set of photos, the unique temperament of the character Remielle can be presented, and I also want to thank the shooting team for their cooperation in lighting and scene construction.
