[C.C. cosplay] Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Dark Night Gilding styling sharing

This Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion C.C. Dark Night Gilding photoset took about half a month from preparation to completion. Today, I'll directly share the creative process of this time. The wig uses bright green, with trimmed neat bangs and sideburns on both sides. To restore the 2D texture, the hair strands underwent extensive styling treatment, especially the draping feel of the hair ends which needed to be smoothed repeatedly. The makeup focuses on the yellow-green circle lenses, paired with elongated, blended eyeliner to make the gaze look sharper, while eyeshadow uses earth tones for hierarchical transition. The lips use a relatively natural light red to avoid stealing the show from the eyes. The original C.C. costume is mostly white, but this Dark Night Gilding version is changed to dark blue satin fabric, giving it a heavier texture. The main body is a corset style, and the deep V on the chest and the cutouts on both sides of the waist and abdomen truly test one's figure. To ensure fit, multiple layers of anti-slip treatment were done internally. Golden embroidery outlines the edges, and the pink gemstone pendant hanging on the chest is just the right embellishment. The independent dark blue long sleevelets on the arms feature golden lace trim at the top, matching the choker on the neck, creating a strong sense of unity. The high-slit design of the lower body is the soul of this styling, with built-in black base shorts to prevent wardrobe malfunctions. For the shoes, black patent leather high heels paired with ankle straps were chosen; the thick soles and red bottoms shown in picture 4 are extremely photogenic. The shooting location is an industrial-style gray-white concrete floor with cool-toned lighting; this high-contrast light and shadow can well highlight the costume's material and the character's dimensionality. To capture the flowing skirt hem, while posing, I needed to constantly adjust how to let the skirt hem fall naturally while maintaining the extension feel of the leg lines. Whether sitting on the ground with a hand touching the lip or stretching out in a standing posture, I strived to showcase the character's mystery. Under the high-slit skirt hem, the display of the legs needs to be natural rather than pretentious, utilizing body twisting and center-of-gravity shifting to elongate visual proportions, while paying attention to muscle tightening to make the lines smoother. This Dark Night Gilding styling, while retaining the character's traits, also increases visual tension. During the shoot, to capture the moment of the skirt hem fluttering, I tried multiple times. The overall feeling is that the state this time is very online; whether it's the gaze or limbs, I tried my best to fit that detached yet slightly alluring atmosphere. The post-processing color grading of the entire set also leans toward cool colors, reinforcing the gorgeous feeling of the night.
