Regarding this set of photos for Herta cosplay, just as written in the copy, this time it truly and physically objectified the keywords "human, female, young, beautiful, and cute." I have always liked Herta's tsundere vibe combined with a bit of a spoiled young lady's temperament, so my performance in front of the lens this time also leaned as much as possible toward that confident and slightly lazy direction.

Let's first talk about the details of this outfit. To maximally recreate this 2D character Herta's image from the game, a lot of effort went into the clothing materials. The black and deep blue leather parts have an incredible texture, paired with silver and gold metal buckles, making the entire outfit look like more than just a pile of fabrics, but rather carrying the exquisite and crisp feel of an elite mage. Especially that iconic big hat—its wide brim and the blue-purple gradient sheen required a lot of thought to adjust angles during shooting to maintain its crisp shape, as a slight oversight could block the light and facial expressions.

The environment arrangement on the shooting day perfectly matched the character's background atmosphere. The purple and blue light spots cast by the stained glass window behind me draped the entire frame in a mysterious and elegant color palette. Sitting on that vintage high-back chair with black leather and silver trim truly gave off the feeling of barking orders in Herta's office or study. The staff I held in my hand was solidly crafted by the prop master; the hollowed-out cross design and star embellishments on it were handled with great detail, and it didn't feel too heavy in hand, making it just right for posing in various ways.

A very clever design of this look is its detached sleeves. The shoulder section is made of form-fitting black leather that hugs the arm, while the lower half features very wide, puffy, white semi-transparent ruffled fabric. When moving, it is full of dynamic energy, adding a lot of breathing room to the frame. The black sheer stockings and black thigh rings with gold buckles on the legs, along with those heavily detailed lace-up tall leather boots, elevate the character's tsundere charm and feminine appeal to another level.

In fact, shooting a set with a vast amount of flowing fabrics and complex accessories presents the biggest challenge for me: how to keep the outfit tidy and maintain a natural balance in my poses. Because the sleeves and hem are extremely wide, combined with the boots having quite high heels and intricate laces, a slight carelessness while posing can easily make the clothing look messy or cause an unstable center of gravity. Fortunately, the photographer's lens capture was spot on this time, freezing that sense of agility and power into the frame.

This time, whether doing an outdoor shoot or a studio shoot, we focused heavily on utilizing the light and shadow atmosphere, without relying excessively on post-processing special effects; instead, we tried our best to set that mysterious tone in-camera. Personally, I feel that rather than just simple posing for a roleplay, immersing oneself entirely in the character's arrogant yet cute aura gives the resulting photos a real soul. I hope that through these pictures, everyone can feel my own understanding and dedication to this setup. That is all from the incognito visit of Genius Society #83.
