[Jahoda cosplay] Genshin Impact: Full Workplace Aura of a Star Corporate Slave - Image 1

For this Jahoda test makeup and finished photoshoot, I parsed through the Natlan character's details once again. Trimming and styling the wig took quite a bit of time; the forehead bangs were deliberately given a fluffy volume, and the wisps on both sides had to be fixed according to the official art angles to maintain those crisp yet lively lines before the camera. In terms of makeup, to suit the character's skin tone and temperament, the base makeup leaned toward a matte finish. Eye makeup was the focal point: brownish-yellow contact lenses paired with lengthened, dense false eyelashes, and the outer corners were slightly elongated to make the gaze look sharper—after all, this character carries the tenacity of a star corporate slave. A low-saturation pink was used on the lips so the overall look wouldn't appear overly aggressive. The red-lensed goggles resting on the forehead are the soul accessory, with the reflective metallic frame looking remarkably rugged under the lighting.

The black high collar around the neck and the metallic device on the chest were quite laborious to put on and take off; to keep those metallic pieces securely in place, plenty of double-sided tape and concealed snaps were attached inside. Black fingerless gloves paired with solid black nail polish—these details all served to recreate the character's professionalism and sense of power. During the shoot, the indoor lighting was relatively soft; I tried resting my fingertips gently against my chin while gazing directly into the lens, aiming to convey that state of staying sharply focused amidst hectic work.

Natlan character costumes often feature a strong clash between tribal and modern elements; this outfit incorporates multiple distinct tiers of black across its materials, interlacing black leather with matte fabrics, while the metallic ornaments on the chest are accented with gold, blue, and red, creating an excellent visual focal point in the frame. Since there was no overly complex set, the entire focus was placed on facial expressions and displaying upper-body details.

Actually, doing 2D Role-playing game character cosplay with so many facial close-ups demands very high control over facial expressions, as the slightest lapse can cause the character's soul to be lost. Repeatedly adjusting poses to find the angles that best reflected the character's personality took up the most time during this shoot. To preserve the wig's styling, hairspray was constantly reapplied during breaks between takes to ensure the direction of each hair strand stayed as faithful as possible in every shot. Through the overall styling and costume textures, I hope to bring everyone a relatively three-dimensional and vibrant portrayal of the character, and let everyone feel that side of her earnestly grinding away at her career.
