[Nahida Cosplay] Genshin Impact Dendro Archon Convention Photos Sharing

This set of convention photos is a Cosplay work recorded by photographer B, shot at an indoor anime convention or a dedicated shooting area. The overall costume revolves around white, green, and gold tones. Heavy-crafted metallic green decorations are used at the neckline, paired with a collarbone-revealing design that enhances the character's exquisite detail. The cuffs and skirt hem are layered with semi-transparent gauze fabric, giving a natural floating texture with every raised hand or spin.
For the hair, a gradient twin-tail hairstyle with a white base and light green ends was selected, complemented by skin-toned elf ears and headpieces with leaf elements, visually reinforcing the gentle charm of a plant-element character.
To maintain overall visual harmony, the leg gear design is also a major highlight of this look. The white leg guards feature hollowed-out craftsmanship and paneling with plant-symbolic patterns, while the barefoot design paired with these guards creates a state closer to nature in front of the camera. When selecting the cover photo, we leaned toward the standing shot with legs slightly crossed, as it perfectly captures the layers of the skirt while highlighting the details of the leg equipment, and the gesture of hands adjusting the neckline makes the pose appear more natural.
During the shoot, photographer B was great at capturing these subtle, natural details. For instance, when sitting on the plush carpet—whether leaning on one hand or pulling my legs in to hug my knees—the photographer gave timely prompts to adjust my angle, preventing the heavy clothing or spread-out skirt from obstructing body lines. Regarding lighting, he utilized side-backlighting to outline my hair strands and arms, preventing the complex background mural and yellow pillars from overshadowing the subject. Instead, the contrast in color temperature made the entire frame look bright and airy.
In a relatively noisy environment like an anime convention, finding a clean backdrop was no easy task. We chose a corner with antique-style pillars and decorative paintings, using a white plush carpet as a platform to effectively isolate the clutter on the floor, allowing the character to perform freely in the center of the frame. From sitting lively and waving to ducking my head with a gentle, reserved expression, I paid conscious attention to the peacefulness in my eyes while performing. Although this character gives a light first impression, she also possesses a profoundness in quietly observing the world. Therefore, while posing, I tried to keep my body language relaxed while exercising restraint in my facial expressions, striving to present this harmonious mix of contradictions.
A lot of thought went into the preparation for this shoot, especially controlling the lightness of the wig tips. If the hair volume was too thick or heavy, it would easily look top-heavy under such loose-fitting attire. For makeup, I chose light, bright shades to emphasize the character's original green pupils, complemented by a clear lip shade to avoid taking away from the intricate layers of the outfit itself.
Although crowds were bustling during the convention, photographer B was very efficient with his snapshots, completing this series of poses in about half an hour. Looking at the finished photos and remembering how we repeatedly adjusted poses on the carpet to achieve a natural look, I feel this collaboration created a great record. It serves as a complete showcase of my understanding of the character during this period.
