[Lumine Cosplay] Genshin Impact Blonde Hair & White Dress: Staying Fierce Even While Shouldering a Claymore

First, the upper garment structure pairs a white strapless design with dark brown crisscross straps, which beautifully accentuates the shoulder and neck lines. Light blue patterned trim at the collar adds layering to the plain upper half so it doesn't look overly basic. The detachable sleeves are one of my favorite accessories—white bases with brown gloves that stay true to the character design while offering anti-slip grip when wielding a heavy claymore, making movement much smoother than integrated long sleeves. Gold metallic accessories and gem-inlaid details at the waist center the outfit's visual weight, leading down to an irregular sheer skirt with a white-and-blue gradient. The skirt drapes beautifully when still and gains an ethereal, airy vibe with the slightest movement. For footwear, high-heeled white boots adorned with gold carved patterns feature a chunky heel design for excellent stability, keeping foot pressure manageable during standing studio poses.

For makeup and hair, I used a light blonde short wig with distinct long sideburns left on both sides to frame the face. The bangs in front were thinned out during trimming so the wig sits snugly on the head without looking bulky. The makeup avoids overly heavy eye shadows, paired with light brown contact lenses that give the eyes a soft, subtly heterochromatic look, while a warm orange-red lip color adds vitality without being overly flashy. A white flower hair accessory hidden by the ear adds a off-center detail that enhances overall lightness.

The custom light blue claymore prop has substantial weight in person. Strike poses holding or shouldering the sword actually required engaging core strength to stabilize the blade, creating an impression of effortlessly wielding heavy steel. In particular, the shoulder-carried pose in Photo 5 relies on shoulder bone support rather than forcing muscle strength alone, preserving an upright silhouette. The metal and gemstone elements on the hilt reflect light beautifully against the black backdrop without looking cheap.

For the studio set, a black backdrop paired with white Roman pillars, railings, draped chains, and floral clusters creates a stark black-and-white contrast. My blonde hair and white dress stand out sharply against this dark background, forming classic contour contrast. We adjusted multiple angles during the shoot to integrate chains and floral elements into the composition for added visual depth. Photos 1 and 6 were candid mirror selfies snapped with my phone during breaks; despite the cluttered real-world background, they directly showcase the outfit's natural drape and how the sleeve cuffs and straps hold up under everyday light.

The outfit presents distinct vibes across studio lighting and casual settings: studio shots emphasize atmosphere and prop interaction, while mirror selfies offer realistic spontaneity. For a look that demands managing a heavy claymore, the physical exertion during Cosplay photography was considerable. Thankfully, the costume's breathability and mobility were well-designed, leaving ample room for movement. Overall, from wardrobe to props and studio settings, preparation was thorough, and the final results fully delivered on my expectations in this 2D universe.
