The preparation process for this Genshin Impact Sigewinne cosplay photoshoot, from costume to scene, was quite long. The blue-white-pink color scheme of this costume is very vivid, with many details on the large bow on the chest and the cat paw gloves. To keep their shape full, shaping pads were added inside, requiring attention to layering when wearing. The light purple wig was custom-made with slightly curled ends, paired with red colored contacts, directing the overall makeup toward a translucent and girlish feel. On the day of the shoot, we chose a studio with a white piano; the lighting was a cool-toned soft light, an environment perfectly suited to the character's setting. In terms of action design, besides restoring the character's iconic poses, we also tried some poses with stronger interactivity. For instance, in the fourth photo, standing beside the piano resting the chin in one hand while holding a heart-shaped prop in the other, paired with White tights, makes the leg proportions look much better in composition. Arranging the outfit and wig took quite a bit of time during the shoot because the gold threads and bows on the costume easily became messy and needed constant adjustment. The playful cheek-poking gesture in the second photo was actually meant to display the cat paw details on the gloves, which heavily tested the feeling of looking straight into the lens, where the photographer provided guidance on eye focus. The third photo of looking down with closed eyes was intended to create a quiet atmosphere; at that time, we tested several angles for hand placement and finally settled on folding them over the chest, which, along with the surrounding paper craft flowers and sheet music, enhanced the overall atmosphere. Although this outfit looks rather gorgeous, to prevent it from appearing bulky during the shoot, one still needs to constantly mind posture—no slouching, otherwise the neck bow will sag. The shooting process was very enjoyable and the crew was fantastic, repeatedly testing different color temperatures in lighting adjustments before finally deciding on this tone that is both dreamy and highlights costume details. Overall, this was a very pleasant presentation of the work. The costume and props had high fidelity, and pairing them with a suitable background made the character's atmosphere more three-dimensional. In post-processing, skin texture was mainly preserved without exaggerated smoothing to match the character's cool and pure quality. This photoshoot also gave me a deeper understanding of the character's external expression.
