Today, my friends and I finally brought together the complete original skin trio of the Angels of Delusion and headed straight to check out the Zenless Zone Zero collaboration theme store. Preparing the costumes and props for this shoot began well in advance. I portrayed Sunna, styling a pink twin-tail wig, applying her signature makeup, and pairing it with the cyan halo at the crown and black headphones. I checked the mirror multiple times to ensure every micro-detail was in place before heading out. The white collared blouse paired with an orange corset bodice, pink-and-white striped arm warmers, and black wrist wraps were all custom-tailored with breathable fabrics, keeping things comfortable while moving around the cafe. The prop drink bottle in my hands was also carefully chosen, instantly locking me into character the moment I held it.

My two friends portrayed Nangong Yu and Aria. Nangong Yu wore silver-gray twin tails with pixel-art gaming console hair clips tucked into the bangs, wielding an angelic heart-topped magic wand with wings, paired with a black pleated skirt and red necktie for a look that was both playful and edgy. Aria rocked black-and-pink ombre twin tails, an off-the-shoulder pink polka-dot top with cyan bow accents, a black cat-bell choker, plush black arm warmers with great tactile texture, and white feathered winged props patterned with ocular motifs strapped to her back. Standing side-by-side, our colors sparked vivid harmony—cyan, pink, black, and white interweaving gorgeously under the ambient cafe lighting.

Upon arriving, the interior was brimming with atmosphere: sprawling white cursive English lettering adorned the glass windows, and dining booths were set with red fast-food boxes and branded logo paper cups. We settled into a booth, arranged our props, and let the photographer direct our posing flow. I rested my chin on my palm or cupped the drink bottle in both hands, channeling Sunna's nimble, slightly spunky attitude. My friend in the center raised the magic wand while the friend on the right cradled a plush black stuffed doll, maintaining effortless eye contact and natural rapport. While dining on fried chicken and soft drinks in these elaborate outfits had its clumsy moments, cosplaying inside a dedicated collaboration cafe was truly an unforgettable experience. The surrounding chatter and warm restaurant lighting immersed us deeply into character.

Preparing these original outfits was far more intricate than expected. From cutting and setting the wigs to matching every accessory, everything required step-by-step verification. The placement of Sunna's headphones, hair clips, and halo was critical; even a slight tilt would disrupt the silhouette. We spent a long time before the dressing mirror finding the most natural wearing angle. Nangong Yu's wand and Aria's wing and plushie were likewise adjusted repeatedly to prevent them from obscuring facial features or looking stiff before the lens. At the store, the fast-food items on the table served as organic narrative elements. Clasping drink bottles, elevating the wand, or hugging the plush doll grounded the shots with everyday life, avoiding stiff, staged awkwardness. The photographer framed numerous angles—such as dynamic three-quarter perspectives that captured all three of us while highlighting wardrobe textures and chromatic contrasts. Despite mixed ambient lighting, the final proofs turned out remarkably textured. Reminding each other to raise our chins, smile, and adjust angles kept the whole shoot full of laughter. The joy of cosplaying alongside like-minded friends is truly beyond words. Bringing the trio together successfully made every bit of prep completely worth it.
