[Angels of Delusion Chinatsu Cosplay] The Electric Angel from Zenless Zone Zero: Snapshots at Hangzhou Dreamland

At the Hangzhou Dreamland venue, I cosplayed Chinatsu from Angels of Delusion in Zenless Zone Zero.

For the wig, I selected a mint-green gradient high-shine fiber material, manually styling it to achieve fluffy yet neat curls, topped with heart-shaped black sunglasses placed on top for a lively visual flair. For the heterochromia eye look, I paired bright green with deep brown, matched with a soft red lip shade. The overall face was kept clean and breathable without unnecessary eyeshadow, maintaining a non-reflective texture in front of the lens. To prevent sweat from smudging the makeup, I used oil-control long-lasting base products, followed by a second drying step after setting spray.

The outfit structure utilized a halter-neck camisole design, featuring a pink strap top and off-white miniskirt, cinched at the waist with a white-based buckled belt. Draped over the arms were translucent pink sun-protection sleeves complete with white straps and metal buckles, shifting the visual center of gravity toward a refreshing interplay of pink, white, and green. The choker positioning was skillfully handled—a thin red strap paired with a delicate 3D red bow perfectly filled the neck's open space, creating a balanced circumference.

The hand-held round cheering fan prop served as the absolute soul of the look. Featuring a pink-and-white color-blocked casing decorated with tiny wings, the center translucent acrylic layer embedded a chibi acrylic figure of the character alongside a small white-and-green cartoon creature. Waving it while holding provided enough breeze from the blades to handle the heat inside the venue.

The indoor venue was densely packed and warm, consuming considerable energy after finishing Cosplay makeup. Although outdoor activity was limited by the heat, shooting within the indoor constructed stage sets easily yielded fantastic pictures. The makeup held up well up to this point, without melting base layers or tangled wig fibers, thanks to thorough fixating preparations in advance.

Pairing platform leather shoes or flat soles with a loose miniskirt pattern avoids the stuffiness of long pants. For camera angles, I adopted low-angle high shots as well as close-up half-body shots to emphasize eye details and hand gestures. This sweet-and-cool style is typically popular at conventions, suiting both standing and seated poses.

To enhance the electric visual impact, strong-hold hairspray and U-shaped pins were used to secure the twin pigtails, ensuring they wouldn't sag after donning the sunglasses. For nails, a light pink polish was chosen to echo the outfit's color palette logic. The overarching styling logic maintains color unity and layered rhythm from head to toe. This approach requires precise color matching, as off-shade hues would disrupt the sweet aesthetic.

Coupled with the humid heat of Hangzhou's plum rain season, I felt a fleeting moment of regret after finishing my makeup and hair, but that fatigue quickly dissipated upon seeing the passion of fellow fans and exchanging cheerful banter at the convention. Keeping makeup clean and tidy is the ultimate homework for outdoor shoot enthusiasts; especially with light-colored wigs, the hair roots need to be kept meticulously clean to avoid degrading overall photo quality. This time, the twin pigtails rested naturally along both shoulders without over-fluffing, achieving a fidelity that matched my internal expectations.

This complementary color pairing of green and pink is visually striking. To avoid a chaotic appearance, I deliberately selected solid-colored inner wear and undergarments. Today's total shooting duration was controlled around three hours, with one touch-up session focusing on oil absorption and powder pressing around the forehead and nose wings, which effectively prevented wig edge detachment from sweat.

Reviewing these photos, beyond the cheering fan prop in hand, the small black face sticker and natural low-angle framing made the final shots feel even more dynamic. The convention's fixed camera spots provided great lighting sources. Moving forward, I plan to select a few satisfying unedited shots as material for my personal portfolio and as reference templates for upgraded Cosplay makeup looks. Capturing this idol-style fashion ultimately relies on conveying character confidence through body language. Given another chance, I'd love to try pairing this outfit with scenes featuring a deeper narrative background.

Regarding upcoming updates, I've already organized the footage and video logs from this trip. Although I snapped hundreds of photos, device batteries and storage remain plentiful. I always believe the true joy of convention cosplay lies in the stacking of details, piecing together elements and colors to bring out the character as they were meant to be.
