[Lumine cosplay] Genshin Impact Snowpiercer Pop-Up Event Check-in Record

On August 24, I attended the offline Genshin Impact Snowpiercer pop-up event, bringing my Lumine cosplay (Traveler cosplay) to life. Preparing for this offline event took about a week in advance. The white skirt of the outfit required meticulous ironing to ensure an elegant, fluid drape, the black-and-gold waist armor was shaped properly, and the form-fitting black undershirt and long sleeves were fitted beforehand to guarantee a snug, tidy appearance on camera. The wig bangs were carefully trimmed and styled with hairspray so they wouldn't be disturbed by the breeze while walking or posing. With clear backdrops and stanchion ropes arranged on site, the event organizer Meituan provided dedicated photo zones and member merchandise, keeping the overall order quite well-managed.

Upon arriving at the venue, my first stop was redeeming the merchandise. I claimed the Genshin Impact collaboration cooling gel pads and a scroll poster featuring a light-blue-haired character, neatly packaged in a transparent bag. Displaying them for everyone, the tangible merchandise felt nicely produced, and the graphic on the cooling pad wrapper was adorable. Throughout the shoot, photographer @Longxiang nightfall guided me through several pose adjustments. One posture called for raising my right hand high while reaching forward with my left—a stance requiring an engaged core and an upright spine to avoid appearing rigid. A massive blue-and-yellow scepter prop and a golden longsword were set up nearby for interactive compositions. When holding the sword, keeping a mindful wrist angle was essential so it wouldn't obstruct the golden waist ornaments on the dress. The large scepter had substantial heft with delicate surface texturing; complementing the snow-and-ice motifs on the Genshin Impact backdrop, it created an authentic, atmospheric synergy. Posing with the props before the golden barricades under the hall's ambient lighting, the white and gold elements of the attire caught strong highlights, so I asked the photographer to angle the shots deliberately to bring out rich dimensional depth across my face and wardrobe.

The venue styling was predominantly blue and white, with the backdrop featuring an ensemble illustration of various game characters. During breaks between takes, I studied the backdrop art to find angles suitable for forced-perspective interactions. For Lumine, the makeup primarily demands focus on the eyes and lips: the eyeshadow needs to look bright and spirited, paired with a natural rosy lip tint to keep the overall visage clean and refreshing. Because white attire can easily appear washed out under strong light, facial contouring relied on delicate highlights and shadows to maintain three-dimensional definition. The hall was bustling that day with numerous fellow Anime cosplay enthusiasts dressed in varied outfits, holding their merchandise while queuing for photos. I spent considerable time at the booth, shooting sword-wielding poses as well as close-ups holding the cooling pad merch. The massive blue scepter standing beside me resonated beautifully with the backdrop's palette, serving as an exceptional foreground framing element.

The pace of checking in at the pop-up event was fairly brisk. Although wearing the costume for an extended period grew a bit warm, and the silver gauntlets and wristbands pressed faint marks into my forearms during sustained posing, the entire shoot proceeded very smoothly. Bringing an in-game character into reality and interacting with the on-site collaboration decor is an absolute joy. With the event wrapped, I’m left with these memorable check-in snapshots from the Snowpiercer pop-up event, looking forward to bringing a fresh look to the next offline gathering.
