[Varesa Cosplay] Daily Life of a Sweet Little Devil in Genshin Impact

When I got this Varesa Cosplay outfit, I felt there were truly so many details. The main black-and-gold color scheme combined with white fluff at the collar feels very comfortable in texture. The twin-tail wig underwent pink-and-blue gradient processing, and the pair of white beast horns on top is quite substantial—it took quite a few extra clips to secure them firmly. For makeup, to fit the character's energetic vibe, eyeshadow used pink-orange tones, and eyeliner was slightly elongated to make the eyes look more spirited. For shooting, a pink-toned set was chosen, paired with a plush carpet and several cute plushie props, turning the whole atmosphere into dreamy photography.

Actually, the most laborious part was those white over-the-knee stockings. The heart and cross patterns on them are custom prints, so care must be taken to align angles while wearing them; otherwise, they'll look crooked in photos. The shoes are black loafers, which go surprisingly well with the outfit. Moreover, this short garment style perfectly reveals leg lines. During shooting, a reclining pose with legs raised was specifically chosen, looking lively while showing the full view of the outfit. The mini cake prop in my hand was temporarily sculpted out of lightweight clay and sprinkled with colorful sugar beads, creating a fairytale feel under the lights.

From styling to set design, this shoot took about two to three hours of preparation. Although wearing horns for a long time made my scalp hurt a bit, seeing the final photos made it all feel completely worth it. The clothing fabric is quite breathable and doesn't feel stuffy under indoor lighting, while the gold accessories reflect light wonderfully. I communicated a lot with the photographer during the process and tried several different angles, eventually settling on this seated posture shot—allowing a clear view of facial details as well as displaying the match of stockings and shoes in this Stockings cosplay look. Character designs in Genshin Impact always offer many small elements to play with, such as those small star and cross decorations at the waist; though small, they enrich the overall look.

Post-processing color grading mainly desaturated the background to make the pink softer while brightening the subject's skin tone and golden parts of the outfit, making the overall picture look cleaner. This Sweet cosplay outfit is actually very suitable for standing or seated interaction; if shooting again next time, I might try switching to a more dynamic scene, like simulating some in-game moves. Overall, this Varesa Cosplay experience was very pleasant; the character accuracy of the outfit and wig was great, and the plush elements and color coordination were very charming.
