[Cyrene cosplay] An Ethereal Illusion in Honkai: Star Rail

This outfit of Cyrene has an immense amount of details; just sorting out the gradient layers of the wig and putting on the elf ears took a lot of thought before the shoot. Today, the entire scene setup incorporated a large amount of pink-and-white dual-colored flowers and crystal chandeliers, paired with lightweight feather props, making the overall atmosphere perfect for dreamy photography. To align with the character's ethereal and aesthetic qualities, I chose a rather translucent base for this ethereal makeup and styling, focusing on deepening the contours to make my facial features look softer and more delicate.

The costume material features a pearlescent gauze fabric, refracting light purple and light blue tones under different lighting angles, which is also key to showcasing the character's temperament. During the shoot, the most important thing to pay attention to was posture, as the character's calm and tranquil vibe needs to be presented with a highly relaxed and stretched stance. This time, I tried many semi-leaning and sitting shots, letting myself fully immerse in the scene, as if I were truly drifting through the illusion belonging to her.

During post-processing, I also did my best to preserve that soft direct light and shadow from the original photos without over-sharpening, aiming to restore that floating ethereal texture. Behind every exquisite costume actually lies a tremendous amount of painstaking effort from the makeup, styling, and logistics teams. Being able to freeze-frame her otherworldly yet slightly fragile beauty gives me a true sense of accomplishment. I hope this set of photos allows everyone to feel the unique artistic conception of the character.
