[Hyacinthia cosplay] Honkai: Star Rail: Hyacinthia's Daily Musings - Image 1

Today's outfit is the cosplay costume of Hyacinthia from Honkai: Star Rail. Quite a bit of thought went into preparing this outfit. The wine-red primary tone paired with white lining features crisp golden embroidered textures on the outer overskirt, with rich tactile depth clearly visible in good lighting. The sleeves are designed as relaxed puff sleeves accented with white pleated ruffles along the edges. To match the overall ambiance, I prepared a long, wavy wig in alternating pink and green, topped with a red hat adorned with a golden handle and pom-poms. For the legs, I chose White tights paired with brown loafers, with black cords tied into red ribbon bows around the ankles to complete the overall look.

Time for some musings. Lately, I've been trying hard to adapt to a new environment, only to find that everyone around me is fiercely competitive. Everyone is hustling so intensely, which has honestly felt somewhat exhausting for someone easygoing like me. Watching people rush by in hurried strides every day while I simply want to take things one step at a time inevitably sparks a bit of self-doubt. At times like this, I choose to dive headfirst into the world of cosplay. Today, taking advantage of some free time, I pulled out this Hyacinthia outfit, put it on, and snapped a few photos in front of the mirror.

Doing cosplay is by no means an easy feat. From the moment the garments arrive, one has to check whether every single accessory is accounted for, re-brush the wig's hair flow, and customize the makeup to match the character's nuances. For today's makeup, I specifically emphasized a clean, translucent feel around the eyes; even though my face isn't shown, I know in my heart that every detail was attended to. Standing in front of the mirror in the full ensemble, settling into character, and pressing the phone's shutter—that moment of pure focus lets me temporarily forget the anxieties of real life.

There's really nothing wrong with being laid-back; it just takes a stronger inner resolve to safeguard one's own tempo in a fiercely competitive environment. I adore Hyacinthia not just for her visual design, but even more for the profound sense of tranquility she brings me. Snapping this set today is simply a way to record my current state of mind. In this environment, I still want to hold onto my own pace as best as I can. No matter how much others compete, doing what I love, wearing the clothes I cherish, and pouring my heart into every cosplay session—that is more than enough for me.
