For the styling of Texas and Lappland, what took the most thought during the photoshoot was the texture of the Plush toy props and the seamless synergy of our Duo cosplay. Grooming the silver-white long hair and the shimmering grayish-blue strands required extra care, especially shaping the animal ears on the wigs and maintaining crown layering—striving to keep them looking fluffy yet structured before the lens. For eye makeup, we tested amber-colored contacts to complement our cool skin tones; Lappland's black eyeliner was elongated, while Texas's was kept softer, highlighting the personality contrast of the Twin Wolves through subtle facial expressions.

When shooting the close-up of the dolls from behind (Photo 2), we carefully adjusted the bowties and leather back straps on these two little Plush toy figures. Dressed in vests and tiny leather belts, their textures looked remarkably lifelike, adding visual substance in hand and preventing poses from looking stiff. Since this was shot on the convention floor, the vibrant red and yellow backdrop with bold geometric graphics served as a colorful background without overwhelming the subjects. Opting for a head-on stance facing the lens like in Photo 3 ensured both plush dolls aligned evenly and both cosplayers were centered, delivering a clean symmetry without anyone getting awkwardly cropped at the frame edges.

The on-site lighting was quite complex—balancing wig highlights, smooth skin rendering, and fur shadows on the dolls took some time to dial in the angles. Because the outfits leaned toward dark monochrome palettes, shooting against a bright background prevented any visual muddiness. The overall makeup and costume styling stayed true to the characters' original lore; the neutral makeup approach not only suited our Duo cosplay coordination but also elevated the textural quality of the photos. Although constantly adjusting wigs and holding poses with the dolls was tiring, coordinating positions together to capture chemistry made the entire process super fun.

This shoot explored two cool-toned hair stylings, and we specially researched maintenance techniques for silver-gray and grayish-blue wigs. Preparing the full gear—especially the intricate details on the little vest-wearing dolls—proved essential for elevating the visual completeness of the shots. When capturing the Twin Wolves from Arknights, using plush props to soften the cool visual tension alongside gaze and gesture interactions proved to be a fantastic creative approach.
