[Diaochan cosplay] Honor of Kings A Midsummer Night's Dream, Sharing the Photoshoot Record of My Main Hero

There is truly much to say about the details of this A Midsummer Night's Dream Diaochan cosplay costume. The most troublesome part was the blue-and-white gradient water sleeves and ribbons; the material is quite lightweight but exceptionally prone to tangling together. When walking around the anime convention site, I had to be constantly careful not to step on them, and during the shoot, an assistant was needed to help straighten them out to capture that airy, floating feel. The costume's design features distinct layers; the chest armor uses a stiff material, and the gold trim and sapphires are very exquisite, perfectly highlighting the figure when worn. The biggest challenge was actually the pair of white high-heeled long boots. The heels are quite high with a thick platform. Although they elongate the leg proportions, wearing them for a long time puts a lot of strain on the ankles. Especially when shooting the one-legged standing pose in the second photo, I had to be extremely careful to maintain my balance, relying on leg strength to stabilize my center of gravity, with my whole body tensed up tight. This shoot took place in the studio area of the Tonghua Anime Convention. The floor of the venue had an excellent reflective effect, allowing for reflection shots. The photographer found several suitable angles and used a wide-angle lens to nicely elongate the proportions. Under the lighting, the metallic colors of the wig and headwear also reflected light very naturally. As my main hero in Honor of Kings, I have a deep affection for the character Diaochan. Being able to personally cosplay this A Midsummer Night's Dream set fulfills a long-held wish. Although standing for a day in this outfit was exhausting, seeing the final outcome of the photos made all the hard work worthwhile. While walking around the convention site, I also met many friends who share a love for this character. We chatted about gameplay strategies and aesthetic preferences in the game, which felt like a fantastic atmosphere. Because the overall color tone is mainly blue and white, I deliberately preserved some reflective textures during post-processing to make the cool tones of the image stand out more, giving it a fresher overall look. This set of photos documents the state on-site at that time. Although 100% perfect restoration is impossible, I did my best to capture the character's traits. After shooting this set of photos, my feet and back were aching, and the physical exhaustion was immense, but looking back at these experiences, they are all interesting memories.
