[Gongsun Li Cosplay] Black, White, and Pink Private Summer Outfit, Sweet Bunny Ear Girl

I held my phone in front of the mirror and adjusted the angle several times before finally capturing this umbrella-holding photo. This time, I prepared a private-concept outfit combining Gongsun Li's character characteristics with Hello Kitty-themed Summer Outfit elements. Since I didn't want to rigidly adhere to the official static styling, I made some personalized changes to the coordination. A pink wig paired with black and pink lace ruffled top and bottom instantly brought out a playful and cute vibe. The black bunny ears on top of my head were specially chosen with pink bows and plush ball decorations to echo the character's original setting, without looking too exaggerated for daily wear.

In the first photo, I am holding that umbrella with the Hello Kitty pattern while sitting on a white round stool. To elongate my leg proportions, I specially paired it with transparent chunky-heeled sandals; the crossed-leg sitting pose not only showcases the details of the high heels but also beautifully extends the lines of my legs. The phone blocks my face because I wanted attention to be focused on the coordination of the outfit and accessories. The white wall and white plush carpet provide a clean and pure background, which is highly beneficial for highlighting the main color scheme of black, white, and pink. Although there are many prop elements, the color saturation is well-controlled so it doesn't look cluttered.

The second photo shows my state after taking off the shoes. Curling up my legs while sitting on the round stool, free from the constraints of high heels, my overall posture became more relaxed and lazy. In this image, I used a light blue cloud doodle to slightly obscure the area in front of my legs during post-processing. This treatment can create a sense of intimacy, as if everyone accidentally caught a glimpse of a young girl resting, making the overall frame more narrative. The barefoot state paired with the furry carpet looks visually softer and more approachable, which is another atmosphere I wanted to convey when shooting this set.

Regarding this private-concept styling, I actually have quite a few insights into the makeup and hair. Although the pink wig looks beautiful, it reflects light very easily, so some deglossing treatment must be done in advance; when putting on the black bunny ears, the wig shouldn't tightly hug the cheeks, otherwise it makes the face shape look wide. For makeup, I chose soft, pinkish tones, with the eyeliner slightly elongated, and earth tones plus shimmer highlight for the eyeshadow to keep it clean and dimensional, avoiding heavy application. The combination of black, white, and pink is a classic sweet matchup in itself, so the lace edges of the costume must be arranged very neatly without letting the black threads curl, otherwise the captured texture will be greatly compromised.

During the shooting process, it was actually quite a test for expression management because the phone blocked my face, meaning all body language had to convey emotions through hand and leg movements. For example, in the first umbrella-holding picture, the body needs to lean forward slightly to appear focused; in the second barefoot picture, the shoulders and neck should be relaxed a bit to create a casual and unconstrained feeling. Although the scene is simple, the light source comes from the front and side, ensuring that the white parts of the clothes are not overexposed, while the shadows highlight the dimensionality of the character and the round stool.

Looking back at this anime cosplay photography process, the advantage of a private concept is that it allows for a great degree of free play. Although the bunny ears on top of my head and the umbrella in my hand reveal shadows of the character, the overall feeling is closer to my own aesthetic preferences. Doing a shoot for this kind of private concept can sometimes bring more surprises than a regular photoshoot strictly following official designs. With every click of the shutter, I hope to present aesthetic value from different angles through varied actions, props, and emotions, making the photo not just an image, but a frozen narrative fragment. Since I wore a short skirt and a cool, revealing top this time, the air conditioning in the studio was turned up quite high; otherwise, maintaining the posture for a long time would have been somewhat exhausting. However, seeing that full-of-vitality yet slightly lazy vibe in the final photos makes all the preparations and adjustments feel totally worth it. These two pictures, one representing lively and extroverted, and the other quiet and introverted, happen to piece together the entire state I wanted to present today.
