[Viper cosplay] Goddess of Victory: NIKKE - Sweetness is a Disguise, Danger is Her True Nature

This Viper cosplay took about half a month from preparation to the official shoot. Because the character's overall aura leans towards a blend of sweetness and dangerous allure, a tremendous amount of thought went into the preliminary preparation stage. The wig was chosen in light golden-white, featuring pink gradient highlights processed at the hair ends and inner sides; trimming the blunt bangs and sideburns involved iterative layer adjustments to ensure a snug fit against facial contours. Makeup centered primarily on pink-purple tones, with eye makeup intensifying blending and false eyelashes, paired with rose-colored lipstick to highlight that casually nonchalant yet slightly provocative gaze.

Regarding costume details, the pink ruffles and fluffy cuffs of the white cropped top were meticulously refined. The thin black straps, along with the wide black choker around the neck featuring a red heart-shaped pendant, serve as memorable anchors of the entire styling. The lower body's white short skirt features pink linear decorations, paired with white diamond-patterned fishnet Stockings, while the bright pink high heels donned in the third photo make the overall color coordination far more complete. On the prop front, a gold coin inscribed with the number 100 was prepared, which, alongside the bartending tools, wine glasses, and mini cake within the Bar photoshoot setting, helps forge an extraordinary atmosphere exclusive to the character.

The shooting location was selected as a vintage wooden bar, with the background liquor cabinet packed full of various western wine bottles; the warm-toned lighting washing down wonderfully complemented a calm yet ambiguous environment. To achieve a shallower depth of field and make the subject stand out more, the photographer invested considerable effort into lenses and lighting, where background bokeh blurring enriched the frame's textural layering. During actual shooting, I adjusted my posture based on the character's traits—for instance, using the coin to conceal my cheek in the first frame to heighten the sense of mystery, sitting sideways on the barstool crossing my legs in the second frame to showcase the fishnet Stockings and leg lines, and leaning forward onto the bar counter in the third frame while striving to keep the posture languid yet retain a sense of control. Sweetness is a disguise, danger is her true nature; this setting gradually manifests through the tightening and releasing of gazes and motions, requiring no forced exertion, just sustaining an effortless sense of relaxation.

The process of shooting this photo set was exhilarating—not merely recreating the exterior appearance, but more importantly, pondering the character's emotional expression within specific scenes. The vintage elements of the bar coupled with the heart-choker and fishnet Stockings—styles that appear contradictory at first glance—came together to piece together Viper's unguessable tension. The pairing of fishnet Stockings and pink high heels added substantial visual impact, which, alongside the wine glass and cake props on the bar counter, generated a robust sense of storytelling. The photographer managed to capture numerous natural moments, such as lowering the brows, a light smile, and the detail of raising a hand to fiddle with the gold coin.
