The two-day run at CPG 08 has come to a close; big thanks to all the photographers and staff on-site! I wonder if everyone managed to snag one of those massive Leiting bags? My primary duty at the Viltrox booth was engaging in interactive modeling sessions to showcase lenses, bringing the Arknights Amiya cosplay look to life. The booth featured a white main backdrop bordered by wrought-iron arches and stained-glass accents, flanked by orange-and-white floral arrangements, creating an ideal setting for portraits. The fixed-angle overhead black softbox was instrumental in highlighting the outfit's layered textures. Details like the white shirt, black ribbon bow, and pocket watch accessories on this blue dress ensemble often blend together under flat lighting, but the booth setup made every texture pop cleanly. The black Stockings paired with strapping details on the legs also displayed a refined sheen under the studio lamps.
Foot traffic was heavy over the first two days, with crowds of photographers circling the stage. As a featured subject, I constantly adjusted poses and eye lines to accommodate various focal lengths, overhearing fascinating discussions on camera gear and shooting methods. Being a photography enthusiast myself, I chatted with visitors about the practical utility of Micro Four Thirds lenses on convention floors. Some favored prime lenses for dreamy shallow depth-of-field, while others relied on zooms to freeze candid movement—paired with the booth lighting, the output rate was remarkably swift. To honor the character, I prepped the costume and broke in my shoes ahead of time to stay comfortable across extended hours on stage. Fine touches like the pocket watch on the chest and wrist guards demanded specific light angles from the photographers to capture their distinct finishes.
Standing and smiling for hours was physically taxing, requiring brief touch-ups and styling checks during breaks. The interactive vibe was lively, especially the playful sign reading 'Photography Skills +1 +1 +1', which resonated with everyone. Though the two days were tiring, our synergy sharpened with every take, allowing us to capture candid, striking frames. The commemorative Leiting convention bags were durable, handsome, and spacious. Immense gratitude goes to the organizers and Viltrox for this collaboration, leaving me with unforgettable photoshoot memories. I look forward to returning in meticulously crafted cosplay to talk portrait photography again. Thank you to everyone behind the scenes, and see you next time!
