This sheep-counting-themed photo set was captured on a cozy winter night, set to embody a drowsy state just before drifting off to sleep.
This time, I took on Rem's Winter fluffy outfit. First came the wig styling: to achieve that natural, airy fullness, I added subtle curls to the ends and adjusted the angled bangs veiling the right eye multiple times to ensure it looked completely effortless. The hair features a blue gradient, reflecting rich color depth under varying angles of light. The contrast between the blue contact lenses and the pink X-shaped hairpin distinctly highlights the blue-haired girl's iconic traits. For makeup, I aimed for a clean, soft look—a semi-matte base, subtle eye makeup emphasizing individual lash placement, and a naturally soft rosy-nude lip tone.
The tactile texture of the costume is the soul of this set. The white fluffy fleece fabric felt wonderfully warm, but due to the off-the-shoulder cut, plenty of double-sided tape was needed to keep the neckline secure during shooting. The red cord and golden bell around the neck served as the defining accent; chiming softly whenever I moved or lowered my head, it helped me fully immerse into character, and we fine-tuned the cord's length for ideal visual proportions.
In terms of photography and composition, we used warm yellow string fairy lights as the backdrop, with a wide aperture creating gorgeous bokeh that naturally drew focus straight to the face. To evoke that sleepy ambiance, the third photo incorporated foreground blur—as if peeking through a mirror reflection or strands of hair—creating a relaxed, intimate interaction. The second shot, chosen as the cover, utilized a centered frontal composition where the background bokeh shone most brilliantly, directly capturing the character's serene, gentle demeanor. Continuously fine-tuning lighting angles to let facial contours emerge under soft diffused light made this a genuinely joyful Anime cosplay creative journey.
