The set chosen for this shoot featured a seamless gradient backdrop transitioning from purple to soft pink, which visually complemented skin tones and cool-toned hair shades with striking clarity.

In terms of wardrobe, the core focus lay in textural layering: the necktie, blouse, corset, and skirt each required meticulous fitting, with the waist belts and metallic accent chains checked repeatedly before shooting to prevent slippage. The umbrella patterned with butterfly motifs became the emotional anchor of the series—serving not merely as an umbrella, but as an emblematic character prop across frames.

While shooting, I explored poses requiring delicate center-of-gravity shifts to align with the camera—such as balancing on a single leg atop a cylindrical plinth or angling sideways with the umbrella resting across my shoulder. Because the heels were steep and the hosiery was slick, holding these stances demanded considerable foot and ankle strength. The cutout lace garter strap wrapping the thigh formed a standout accent that had to be aligned smoothly before each take.

Facing the camera meant stepping fully into character, channeling that devoted reverence toward Lord Phaethon native to the Zenless Zone Zero universe. Pale red contact lenses paired with violet eye makeup produced intense visual impact in close-ups, with certain expressions carrying a distinct gothic flair. Although physically taxing, achieving high character fidelity made the exertion worthwhile, encapsulating my creative interpretation of the design.

The resulting frames cleanly showcase the costume's chromatic and textural subtleties. The blouse featured flared, tiered sleeves that added kinetic grace to every gesture, while the cinched underbust corset enforced rigid posture that required constant core engagement.

Throughout the session, I practiced turning and leg lifts repeatedly, adjusting the umbrella's tilt to guide viewer focus toward either facial expressions or leg lines. Because the look integrates classic Anime-style photography motifs like Black stockings, stilettos, and Elf ears, I paired them with an umbrella handle tipped like a sharp spear point to introduce an aggressive edge matching the overarching tone.

If asked where the primary difficulty lay, beyond the balance challenges mentioned, it was maintaining fluid, graceful postures while hoisting this hefty umbrella, demanding continuous core stability. Yet across both wide-angle panoramas and half-body portraits, the final shots flawlessly projected her poised, subtly tsundere retainer presence. It was a refreshing creative journey, and I look forward to exploring even more facets of this character in future sessions.
