I changed into this summer seaside look of Robin for the photoshoot. We scouted the location with the photographer beforehand and chose the afternoon when the sunlight was relatively soft. I put a lot of thought into choosing this Summer outfit. The white top features a loose fit with a musical note print across the chest, paired with an orange short skirt that creates a wonderful color contrast by the summer beach, while the white tulle and white ribbon accents on the skirt add great fluidity when moving. The wig has a blue-purple gradient; to capture a translucent feel, I spent a long time selecting it. The golden halo prop overhead and the wing accessories with purple feathers on both sides needed careful fastening. Because I had to look down or turn around during shooting, it would be bad if they fell off, so I secured them three times with hair clips. I also adjusted the makeup accordingly: green contact lenses and reddish touches under the eyes matched the character's demeanor, while blush was applied lightly to avoid looking overly heavy under strong beach sunlight. It was very windy at the beach on the shooting day, posing quite a test. Because the top is a cropped style, the sea breeze blew directly onto my midriff; to maintain an elegant posture, I had to control my breathing, engage my core, and keep a smile all at the same time. Touching my hair with one hand in the second photo and placing hands on hips in the third both required keeping my center of gravity stable in the wind. Stepping in the sand, my feet were occasionally washed over by waves, but this authentic natural setting actually made it easier to relax. The photographer was great at capturing candid shots, pressing the shutter the moment I looked down in contemplation. Reviewing the raw shots later, the background bokeh was spot-on, the sunlight sparkled across the water, and paired with this orange-and-white color-blocked outfit and blue-purple wig, the visual effect was exceptionally crisp and refreshing. In the retouching phase, I mainly asked the photographer to preserve the original skin texture and layers of light and shadow without excessive smoothing, keeping the colors of the sand and vegetation looking natural. Because the overhead halo and wing props were relatively heavy, keeping my neck upright caused some soreness, so we paused to rest several times. I also took care to repel insects, as mosquitoes are quite common by the coast. Overall, this attempt successfully captured Robin's airy, lighthearted feel by the summer seaside, and I was very satisfied with the fidelity of all details including the wig and costume. Although the process was a bit tiring, completing the Seaside cosplay shoot in this setting with results true to the character design made it all worthwhile for this Anime-style photography set.
