This shoot features Wang Guiren from Honkai: Star Rail, which is the Fox spirit costume with a strong Oriental charm of Tingyun that everyone is familiar with. From the initial makeup test to the final photos, the preparation took over half a month. Just the fox ears on the head and that large bundle of deep-red gradient long wig required repeated angle adjustments because it was very easy to look messy or awkward when moving. The gold hollowed-out accessories on the costume and the purple dark-patterned fabric at the bottom have an excellent texture, fitting perfectly with the character's noble yet somewhat mysterious temperament when worn. During the shoot, a scene with warm, soft light was intentionally chosen. The bright yellow flower clusters in the background, combined with the circular halo light above, perfectly echoed the character's inherent contrasting vibe of being warm yet cool. The photographer is great at capturing the moments of looking back and side profiles. Among these photos, I especially love the one with my eyes closed, as it feels like it restores eighty to ninety percent of the character's resolute and gentle expression. Of course, there are always regrets in Honkai: Star Rail cosplay, such as the weight of the tail making it quite difficult to find a balance; I had to keep my core tight at all times while standing. However, seeing the final results of this Anime-style photography, everything was totally worth it.
